All weekend they’ve been going off here. I just want to scream - GIVE IT A BREAK

Because the OP said "give it a break", as if Diwali is insignificant but the 5th November is not.

We have them all year round regardless of festivals. And regardless of light or time.

Our local Facebook page had complaints last night along the lines of "It's not 5 November" then a million people saying "It's Diwali". Just like here.
