My RL every day interactions are great nothing like MN , but I would immediately walk away from that type anyway having a wanker for a father has taught me to spot the point scoring ones in RL . It's not so easy online .

I really don't want to give to much info on my life , but as a woman and mother I really don't need to be told what women and girls are fighting to protect I know I have experienced the very worst if it and have coped with 15 years of therapy and suicide attempts in the process.
I have already explained the mistake about the board . I am now one of the posters who is now on guard . Thank you to the posters who have had some sympathy I appreciate it but I really no longer wish to be part of the discussion. Thanks 🙏

The way the OP approached this thread would generate poor results and annoying anyone on any board.

Even more so because when the ‘story’ finally emerged it was still bloody difficult to figure out what the point of relating it was.

Imagine a gardening thread starting ‘guess what happened to me in the garden centre’, waiting 30 minutes and relating a story about a punch up over a new geranium variety. It wouldn’t go well too.

And that’s without the context of that being a board with a significant problem of people coming in to set trap threads trying to prove that geranium fans are a problem and worse than all other kinds of gardeners so they can post the ‘receipts’ elsewhere, or where garden centres are a key focus for such trap threads. And those posters then spend the thread playing the victim of the nasty, aggressive women on FWR.

I don’t think I believe any OP coincidentally blunders into these sort of situations.

I could have sworn the opening post had just the two question marks when the thread was first in FWR which is why it was very irritating and seemed troll like, hence the allegedly snitty responses. When the thread was moved to Chat it had the additional words with the two question marks but the post isn't edited, so who knows. Whole situation is twilight zone material.

So I'll give you what I know just so you can all get some closure and I can forget about it as it's pissing me off . I wrote my opening thread title and posted . Then a load of crap appeared 2 question marks "??". and then that disappeared and then something about " how many posts 2 ?? "
or something like that and I know i did not write it. the topic kept changing and then ended up in Chat. All I know is everyone seemed really pissed off and having a go . I have no idea what happened . I reported my original post and asked MNHQ to take it down , they wouldn't . I only started a thread because I was shocked at what I'd seen and we were caught up in it which was a lot more than I got the chance to say on here . I no longer care what happened to the women It really wasn't worth the pasting I got on here . As long as my family are safe . One thing is certain though I will never go in a public toilet ever again . Hope that is enough for you ? I doubt it .

Thanks that cheered me up , well I was watching vids of puppies howling, my dog likes to sing along to them , so we have a sort of similar go-to. 😺🐶 Thanks for the advice it's much appreciated and you do sound fabulous 😂

Don't worry about it OP, you've done nothing wrong, I would have been shocked too, fighting in a public lav, whoever it was & whatever caused the problem, no need for that.
