It isn't a blank canvas. It's a canvas that had a picture on it from 1972 but has been slashed up and left in the rain to go mouldly.

At least the ceiling tiles have started to fall off by themselves, that'll save someone a job!

I wonder what the story behind it is? It always astonishes me that a house like this must be owned by someone, it's worth a great deal of money and has just been left to rot. Surely even if was a family in dispute over it then they would have taken care of it if just to maintain value. Always make me wonder.

In the same area, same price. Only a flat but 2 baths, 3 beds and 1000sq ft.

I had a quick look on RM and nearby ones are going for about £200k more, so presumably they are estimating the renovation cost at around that.

Broken windows, hole in the roof. Not mortgageable because it's not habitable.

All the indications that it's belonged to someone elderly who's not been living there for quite a while, it's fallen into neglect, and now the estate/inheritors are selling it off. Looks like the garden was a jungle until recently, someone's been in with a brush cutter and cleared it.

Definitely a Project, and not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced.

London prices are insane. You could buy that house and live like a squatter or you could live in the north and live in this for the same price.
