Isn't halloween tomorrow night?

JudgeClaudeFrollo · 30/10/2023 19:42

I think you put your clocks forward instead of back, op. It's tomorrow.

Witchesdontburn · 30/10/2023 19:43

Roast in the oven on a timer

Definitely tomorrow eve!

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 30/10/2023 19:43

Halloween is tomorrow.

But we’ll be having pasta bake, homemade brownies, absinthe and lemonade and any sweets left after the tiny ghouls leave.

Simplepink · 30/10/2023 19:44

Huge quantities of hot dogs for adults and kids alike after a doing the rounds trick or treating. Nice and easy

Ibravedaflood · 30/10/2023 19:45

Vegi hotdogs or vegi burger with bun and onions before trick or treating.. Putting jacket potatoes in to be ready when we get back...

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 30/10/2023 19:45

I'm going to be having a Chinese takeaway

YourNameGoesHere · 30/10/2023 19:45

For tea tomorrow you should have mummy hotdogs, basically hotdogs wrapped in pastry strips and with edible eyes. Super easy but very effective looking.

MummyJ12 · 30/10/2023 19:46

Hot dogs, Jacket Potatoes and a chilli. We have a few friends coming over so it’s a stress free super for us.

Girasoli · 30/10/2023 19:46

I hoping the fish and chip shop will be open!

coxesorangepippin · 30/10/2023 19:57

Oh yeah I know it's tomorrow, I do try to plan ahead 😜

DD is having a party so it will be pizza, hot dogs made to look like fingers, and some Humous and guac laid out to be ignored with crudités so the other parents won’t judge me. Apples will be bobbed and then will have a doughnut eating competition with the doughnuts hung on strings

ButtonDownBev · 30/10/2023 20:05

Hot dogs, and hot chocolate. Super quick and warming for when we come home after trick or treating.

MajorBarbara · 30/10/2023 20:07

Going out to a special Italian as it is our 30th anniversary of meeting (Halloween 1993).

I’m going to pinch this doughnut eating competition idea! Thanks 🙏🏼

It is so much fun, we do it every year, although usually off the washing line & the weather looks awful this year so might have to use a broom handle indoors and do two at a time instead of all at once

I'm amazed you've had so much stick when you didn't say tonight in your post at all. knew what you meant!

DiscoBeat · 30/10/2023 21:19

I've made some Halloween cakes, but nothing special about the meal (it will probably be salmon and garlic potatoes). Then we'll try to find a horror that we can all watch (youngest is 13)

DiscoBeat · 30/10/2023 21:20

I miss the days when they were little and we had little parties for them.

Sherrystrull · 30/10/2023 21:21

Chips from the chip shop half way round our village!

MeinKraft · 30/10/2023 21:22

Dunno? Chips or something probably.

TheChosenTwo · 30/10/2023 21:26

We will have chicken, rice and cabbage. I’ve marinaded up all the chicken tonight. It’s quite a faffy one to cook but well worth the effort, everyone likes it.
No trick or treating for us tomorrow, kids are too old thank god!

I do worry about the lack of comprehension on here....it was pretty clear from the time of your post and the fact you were asking for ideas you were planning for tomorrow!

In answer to your question OP, we're having the 3 for £12 Halloween food deal from M&S with DDs. Bat shaped chicken nuggets, skinny sausages that are apparently worms 🤣, bubbling cheese dip "cauldrons". It's nonsense but they'll love it!
