I don't understand this post at all, and the list looks pretty normal 🤔

VeniVidiWeeWee · 28/10/2023 23:02

Last days of half term.

Moredarkchocolateplease · 28/10/2023 23:04

Looks like a normal list to me too! And written logically based on the aisles!

🤔🤔 what do you mean?

Sorry, I don't understand those picture things. What do you mean?

You responded to the OP by saying 'last days of half term'. I was unsure what that meant or how it related to the post?

AppleKatie · 28/10/2023 23:22

Wow the mumsnet of the past is visiting and your first replies don’t get it 🤣

looks like a good one OP. What’s the thing above sparkling water?

Torganer · 28/10/2023 23:23

Yep, carrots, parsnips, cauliflower, milk, cheese, and horror of horrors, ultra-processed food in the form of quorn!!!! Are you sure you didn’t find it in Morrisons?

TootenCarMoon · 28/10/2023 23:23

@CandyCane75 I think VeniVidiWeeWee is doubting my authenticity as a viable poster and implying I’m bored and off school as it’s half term.

Not a clue. I'm lost 😂

TootenCarMoon · 28/10/2023 23:25

No idea @AppleKatie. I was hoping someone else knew! It’s not the best branch of Waitrose to be honest and doesn’t even have flaked almonds, so I fear the list writer may have left mainly empty handed.

Oh 😂 I think I'm just all around confused 😂

Found shopping lists are an MN staple. Fun is had deciphering the writing and working out what sort of person it might belong to.

mynameiscalypso · 28/10/2023 23:27

Nyetimber is a brand of English sparkling wine.

I love this list, I feel like I can 100% picture the household it belongs to.

Yajebbend · 28/10/2023 23:27

Love it and got it straight away! These newbies 🤣 not posh enough though

Davros · 28/10/2023 23:28

What's gypsophilia?

troppibambini6 · 28/10/2023 23:30

@Davros little white flowers I didnt know the sparkling wine brand...
love a good shopping list

Davros · 28/10/2023 23:28

What's gypsophilia?

It’s often called baby’s breath. Used to pad out bouquets. Think of the traditional ‘last minute petrol station bunch’ thats mixed with carnations.

troppibambini6 · 28/10/2023 23:32

They've definitely got company on Sunday. Cleaning products and flowers! Spatchcock for the meat eaters and quorn for the veggies.

Ukholidaysaregreat · 28/10/2023 23:32

Love a good shopping list!

DyslexicPoster · 28/10/2023 23:33

Oh my I think that's a posh list! I just spent £75 on 2 and half bags for life full in Lidl. Contemplating washing the clothes in a stream and having plain pasta for every meal next week.

DyslexicPoster · 28/10/2023 23:34

My 9 year old found a shopping list this week. She was delighted and fascinated by it.

Davros · 28/10/2023 23:34

@Torganer @troppibambini6
Thanks, I vaguely remember that now

Not company they like by the looks of it! I was a vegetarian for a long time and I wouldn’t subject anyone to a quorn roast!

troppibambini6 · 28/10/2023 23:36

@Torganer Grin yes that's very true!!
