My living room and the rug choices...

Hard to see but there's lots of green, orange, reds, some pink in the room

And E as it won't let me add to the original post

I immediately liked A for some reason, and looking closer, the border round the rug picks up the colour of your curtains.

ABeautifulThing · 28/10/2023 11:08

I think C, though some devices don't render colours the same way as others so one is never absolutely sure with digital images. But I think C would be complementary and lifting while bringing everything together.

Are you changing the curtains too?

blitzen · 28/10/2023 11:11

E

Gardeningtime · 28/10/2023 11:18

E for me too.

Fumnudge · 28/10/2023 11:19

A is my preference but it looks like a dark room so C may be better

No, why?

I think I'm stuck between A C E

Ihaveawonderfulpartner · 28/10/2023 11:24

E is lovely. That's my favourite.

Sandysandwich · 28/10/2023 11:25

C, goes with everything but slightly more muted so it wouldn't compete with the other colours. The room looks really nice btw.

ABeautifulThing · 28/10/2023 11:27

Your lounge looks gorgeous by the way!
To be fair I think A C E would all work depending which colour/light level you'd like some emphasis on.
B D are a no for me.

Sprig1 · 28/10/2023 11:30

E

Fallenangelofthenorth · 28/10/2023 11:34

Lovely room. I think A. Or C.

ChickenSoupAndLokshen · 28/10/2023 12:33

B or E. They'll make the room really cosy.

yellowsmileyface · 28/10/2023 12:37

They're all lovely! But I think C would go best.

ABeautifulThing · 28/10/2023 12:43

I'd like to see the result of the final choice though, y'know for closure. 😁

Wren77 · 28/10/2023 12:45

I've just bought D - awaiting delivery! But I think I prefer A or B for your lounge

blackoverbillsmothers · 28/10/2023 12:50

A too much green because you have a lot of green anyway. B too dark for the room although I like it . D my favourite but it’s not always about that. It’s looking at the bigger picture. Don’t like E but that’s just personal taste. C looks like the perfect choice to me.

Please let us know what you chose.

wyse · 28/10/2023 13:04

It's a lovely room. Beautiful floor actually. The curtains are wrong. Either forgo them completely or get ones that each the ground.
The rugs all look a bit busy. What about a plainer one?

Nannyfannybanny · 28/10/2023 13:08

C,it is a lovely room, however, curtains should either be floor length or just on the window sill.

BigBoysDontCry · 28/10/2023 13:10

B for me. I'm not a fan of curtains not reaching the floor though. Has your cat died?

ABeautifulThing · 28/10/2023 14:14

Has your cat died!? What kind of a question is that? 🤨

LaurieStrode · 28/10/2023 14:17

E or C

Agree, the orange curtains aren't to my taste. I'd find a solid colour sage green or cream rug.
