I'm having a little cry in the bath because my teenagers (though lovely) don't want to spend time with me in half term any more and now my varifocals are steamed up.

I’ll be there in a few years too. I think think is just part of them growing up and it happens to everyone at some point. I do worry though that I’ll be left with nothing to do.

Oh gosh I’m dreading this! My ADHD teen still enjoys hanging out with his mum but I’m not sure how much longer that will last and I don’t know what I’ll do with myself!

Be glad they’re not clingy and have friends.

I feel very old today. Fell over in the street this morning. Took the skin off the palm of my hand. Grazed my knees. A man ran over and helped to pick me up. He was so nice. Hobbled home and had a good cry. All my shoulders and arms are aching now. This was on top of my DD having her phone pickpocketed in town this morning. Pretty crap day all round really.😞

The problem with middle age is just how bloody good everyone still looks mid 50’s. Honestly I’d hoped that I could stop worrying but everyone I know is fit, thin and flawless. I’ve gone from hot to raddled within a year.

Careful getting out that bath. Make sure you hold on tight to the edge of the sink, we don’t want you having a fall.

My mother got stuck in the bath years back. I could hear screaming so ran upstairs but there was no chance I could haul her out so I had to drain it, get her knickers and dressing gown on so she was decent, put a cushion behind her head, radio on in the corridor and cup of tea.

She wouldn't let me fetch a neighbour to help get her out so in the end the fire brigade had to do it 🙈

I know what you mean - I broke my arm in January and I was walking about so carefully like I was made of glass for a while. I'm fully back to doing stupid shit now though, and you will be too .

I lured mine out with us with the promise of McDonalds for lunch. She then had to come geocaching with us before we went home which pleased her greatly 😂

I feel the time slipping away for me with ds now - and just as I was reading the op he rolled over in bed & kicked me 🤦‍♀️. I think I'm ok for a few more months yet... x
