Is anyone else collecting the Halloween squishmallows in happy meals?

So far I have 3 Wade the Warewolf 😭 and one superpig. This is from 3 different McDonald's in SW London!

I really want the cat or spider.

@Sharontheodopolodous yeah it was the manager at our local! But he did sell it to us for 99p rather than making us buy a meal so not all bad I guess.

I missed out on the Halloween ones sadly but have Rorty. My cat loves him.

Next time,go for a friendly-looking dining area staff

We needed a quick tea last night while out, and got another Autumn. In a drive through so I didn’t dare ask if they had others as we already have one… So I guess some places are using up old stock.

You actually managed to get the toys?

EVERY time we go in (several different store) they have 'run out' and we get given the 'book' instead (its not really a book).

Normally don't care much as its not normall the stuff the kids are into and we just stopped in for quick food but we went at halloween specifically to get the squishmallows.

I stood in the queue for a ridiculously long time (restaurant wasn't actually busy) while Just Eat drivers demanded their orders be done immediately or where grabbing bit of other peoples orders. One went around the counter and started touching all the food. Im guessing shes a regular as they didn't even tell her off just 'guided' her out then stood chatting with her about their families.

I watched 3 families before us get their happy meal and open there toys so thought 'well at least well get them this time'.

Then it gets to us and we have books in our happy meal, I politely say 'excuse me, I think there a mistake we asked for toys in the happy meal' just to get the standard 'uh, sorry we ran out'... what EXACTLY when they got to us... AGAIN.

Its pretty shit because a 5 year old and 2 year dont understand why everyone else got one except them.

I got Benny in my last order (via Uber eats ) but didn't get my cheeseburger !

But I got a full refund , so I got Benny, small coke and small chips for free !!

Had to have some of D's order though !

If the books are not opened. Take them next time or pop to a different one and say you requested a toy and got a book. Please can they swap it. I have previously done that with no issues.

Its nothing to do with class, were as working class as they come.
But our local mcdonalds has been taken over by teen gangs so it's not safe for us to go
