McDonald's squishmallows

Is anyone else collecting the Halloween squishmallows in happy meals?

So far I have 3 Wade the Warewolf 😭 and one superpig. This is from 3 different McDonald's in SW London!

I really want the cat or spider.

Bizzey! I saw the new collection inside McDonalds yesterday and I've fallen in love with Fifi the fox ❤️ I'm taking DD back tomorrow (who am I kidding - I'm going for me) in the hope that we get one. Yesterday we got Xander.

@Kpo58 are you still looking for a cat, my son just got an autumn which looks like a cat to me I can post to you

Or anyone else who wanted the cat they are in braehead McDonald's. I only have one I'm afraid.

The McDonalds staff have been selling them on eBay so they're never in stock, sadly

Our local McDonald's crew must lack initiative because they are handing them out freely! There seem to be a preponderance of Xanders though.

Because it's trash and even charity shops won't want them.

I WANT A SQUISHMALLOW. If i go buy a happy meal will they give me a toy??? My daughter would LOVE one but we don't live near a McDonalds so i'd have to go when at work

No worries, I ended up with two cats as the table next to me left there's on table with rubbish 😂 I will wait until tomorrow and if no one wants them will pop them in charity shop

I always wonder that people had so much contempt for McDonald’s toys- were they really adding to landfill as much as all the balloons, plastic cups, glitter etc? I wish they’d just ban the production of all of that stuff instead (although I know they’ve made a start with the cups) We’ve a box of McDonald’s toys here and the kids still pull them out and play with them. Some are amazing quality (eg the minions toys!) Must take a look at the squishmallows!

@TheYearOfSmallThings I know many are because I was looking on eBay for some and I notice loads of pics that had multiples of the same ones on, had McDonalds cooking implements/signs in the background/corner of pic (I worked there as a teen, so I recognised it). Also the new Autumn range were released 1st Nov and the night before, there were loads of listings with 'More than 10 available' which is obviously going to be staff.

I managed to get bat and Drake in the end but no others.

@PabloandGustheGreySquirrels I thought it must be staff too. It's a shame though for the young kids who actually want them. I tried 2 McDonald's today for DC and neither of them had squishmallows ☹️

We have spares of the cat and the werewolf and x Xanders if anyone would like to swap

We need the little vampire one (Drake?) and any of the other new ones (not halloween)

I work in a maccys and if you buy a happy meal toy,you can buy another
If you buy two+ happy meals you can still only buy one,so if you put them through as two+ transactions you will get the happy meal + toy
If for whatever reason,you don't want your toy,hang onto it for a day or two and come back-we'll happily change it for whatever we have in
These toys are very popular
