20 min walk - 2 chippies and a pizza place.

Live in a large village which has kind of merged into the next villages.

Within a five-10 minute walk we have a Thai, fake nandos type thing, an Indian restaurant, a Cantonese restaurant, a really really good family run Italian, a pub that does home cooked roasts better than my gran's (don't tell her) , plus a pizza place, kebab shop, two cafés one more coffee and cake the other brunch/lunch and a vegan place. Very lucky.

None. We live rurally. A chip van comes to the next village every now and then but even that’s too far to walk - would be cold by the time we got home! No deliveries either.
Sometimes I wish we lived nearer to amenities but then I read all the threads about nuisance neighbours and inconsiderate parking…

Don't really go for takeaways much though have the occasional bag of chips.

Nearly went for Thai takeaway at Christmas. My fave cuisine. There are two thais, several Indian, a Somalian, Chinese, two Japanese, One Filipino but not sure if does takeaway. One Turkish - which I think does falafel so may well investigate as love falafals.

Anyone near New Cross? - there was a fantastic place that may still be around. Kevmo burger did kebabs and stuff and the most gorgeous falafel in pitta. I think it was a Turkish Cypriot place. Of course it did not hurt that the bloke selling it was gorgeous with beautiful green eyes!

There are some other kebab and pizza places too.

Of course, I forgot the numerous chicken shops!!!

I’m on the edge of a rural town so to one side have fields and hills. However I’m also 5 mins from a retail park so have
McDonalds, Subway, KFC, Dominos and Burger King. Then about 15 min walk we have a chippy and a really good Indian restaurant. We’re in a great spot 😄

10 minute walk to an Indian, a Chinese and a burger/kebab place.

30 minute walk into small town which has several Indian and Chinese takeaways, a chippy and more burger/kebab places. Plus pizza places.

I'm quite lucky as I live in a small town which is very coffee bar/wine /food orientated with a bit of M&S, jojo Bebe mama (or whatever it's called) and Oliver Bonas.
I love Wagamama so would probably chose that but we have a lovely fusion Chinese and a sister Japanese place all in 5 mins of my house. Also a few decent curry places too - kids love that domino's is close by so that's their first choice, or papa johns - I forget sometimes how easy it is wheee I love ... but secretly crave quietness of course

Well, I suppose I could walk to a takeaway… it would take me 2 hours and 45 minutes for fish and chips, or 4 hours for Chinese, according to Google maps 🤣I don’t like fish and chips so I guess I’d better get marching for my chow mein!
