I hate that Sainsbury’s “hey big saver” ad. It really grinds my gears!

Has anyone noticed the changes to the Pot Noodle Slurping ad?
(It's still obnoxious though; and they know it.)

The bloody EE broadband one where the only way the parents can get the kids to go to bed is to switch the bloody WiFi off. If that's really how some people live, they need to sort themselves out.

The Currys one where the sales assistant has to wear goggles because people spit their drink in his face when he tells them they can part exchange their old crap against some new tech. I hate it, it's just disgusting.

And the baby milk advert with the "mums, you are legends" voiceover. Fuck off. It's the same woman doing the voiceover who appears in another dressed as a witch to serve a family beige food and I hate her smug nasal voice. She's currently the default choice if advertisers need a northern woman for an ad but there's such a thing as overexposure.

Finally - I quite like the Head & Shoulders "I didn't know you had dandruff" parody ads, mainly because the bloke is hot.

O and any gambling adverts where it makes it look like it's a fun social event. Especially the bloke introducing the band.

Yes - they always finish with "Remember to gamble responsibly." I think they ought to be banned across all media.

Funeral plan / life insurance ones.
Probably all the ones for cleaning products.

@twobluechickens The "I don't" Head & Shoulders guy reminds me of McDreamy of Grey's Anatomy, the early years (which is all I watched, to be honest).

Most perfume/aftershave adverts. They just don't make sense and have nothing to do with the product

The fairy adverts. It's dermatologically not dermalogicly.

The one that has Kate beckinsale in it - don't know what she has done with her face but she is totally unrecognisable and the little kid in it is annoying

CareCo mobility/disability aids on ITV 3. The voice artist has really strange intonation and I find myself hoping for a new one just for more evidence that they are as awful as I remembered.

I noticed the slurping noodles ad has been adapted after complaints. Quieter but still off putting.

I reckon it was always the plan to modify the Pot Noodle ad after 'complaints'. It was obviously going to be controversial, I think deliberately to get people talking and sharing.

The cancer research one 'is cancer winning?' If it's taken your loved one then yes.

It’s disgusting, I turn the sound down as soon as it comes on. I wasn’t aware they’d tweaked it.
Why it was ever deemed suitable for tele or that it would make anyone actually want to buy one is beyond me.

I find some of the itv 3 ones amusing…is June still popping round? And the Ian Botham ones 😄

I actually love the virgin airlines one. Years ago we used to fly with them a lot and there’s a vibe to virgin that they capture in the ad and a great song. Isn’t that Ru Paul in it?!
