What’s for dinner?

So bored of this! Dh usually takes care of all cooking and most of the dinner shopping but he’s incapacitated at the moment and it’s on me. And I hate cooking so much 😂
Inspire me, what’s gracing your dinner table tonight?

Rroasted harissa Mediterranean veg on a bed of giant cous cous with feta and beetroot coulis rocket.

Nah, only joking. It's chicken burgers and oven chips

Ha!! I was just thinking that it sounded really nice 😂
The chicken burgers do sound good too though.

Jacket potato with mackeral and salad

I cba at all today so we’re having part baked rolls stuffed with Cajun chicken (bought already seasoned), peppers and onions.

Two of the dc won’t eat that though so they’ll have their rolls with breaded chicken and some cucumber on the side for health…

Left over Chinese from yesterday. I hate cooking too 😊

Fish and chips from the freezer with some mushy peas and tartar sauce.

Hot dogs and chips for us! They are proper sausages though - can't stand the tinned stuff!
Been at work all day - cba for nothing fancy or time consuming.
I'm the cook 6 days a week in our house, despise it!

Burgers,homemade wedges,salad.

2x dinners tonight, mac and cheese for the little ones and tacos for us and the teenager

Homemade pizzas - I think, need to get off here and make the dough

Takeaway but don't know what yet

Pizza and garlic bread. I have the mother of all headaches and opening stuff and shoving it in the oven is as much as I can be arsed to do today.

Whatever DH brings home - he's doing the Zoë thing and is fed up of entering details so wants food with barcodes. I'm not entirely sure that Tim Spectre meant to put anyone off home cooking!
(But I'm not complaining, DH usually buys nice food)

A tin of cauliflower and Wensleydale soup, bread roll, fruit cake.

Chicken satay.

I'm going to make a toasted sandwich with ham, chicken, cheese, spring onions, salsa and jalapeños - and I'm so sadly excited about it!

Chicken pie, mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrots, peas.

Cottage pie, carrots and broccoli. DH usually does the cooking but he isn't well so I thought I'd make an effort, plus none of the kids ever moan when that's on the menu.

Chilli and rice here tonight.

Chili out the freezer

Our local Indian restaurant does a home-delivered buffet on a Wed and DH has been hinting at that! Here are some of our recent meals for inspiration though (no kids).

• Gammon, pineapple, spring onions, potato and any other veg you fancy
• Sometimes we 'pimp-a-pizza'. Buy cheap, frozen pizzas and add whatever toppings you fancy. Bacon, garlic, BBQ sauce, anchovies, mushrooms, onions, semi-dried tomatoes, jalepenos
• This works equally well with left over roast pork or chicken

Sausage sandwich for me as been out for lunch today

Fish goujons, homemade baked beans and chips from the gousto box. I'm rather enjoying gousto at the moment. Discovered it from a refer a friend code which gave me a chunk of money off but I've carried on because it's convenient and even DS is cooking with me now.
