Brentford nylons bright orange bedspreads. It was bloody awful if you caught a snagged bit of toenail on it, because if you moved your foot, the toenail would stick and be ripped off.

Sticky back plastic.
Formica topped kitchen table.
Ribbon fly screens on the back door.
A giant whiskey bottle used for saving spare change.
A BexBissell carpet sweeper.
Cardboard containers of AJAX on the bathroom shelf.
An ashtray on the side of the bath.
Everything decorated with sea shells and a lamp made from a sea urchin.
Fag coupons.
A shelf full of miniature drinks bottle bought back from holidays (never opened).
Novelty cigarette lighter in the form of a gun.
Paintings on velvet (often of Elvis).
Printed mirrors (also Elvis, but often Coca cola).
Wall art etched on copper set against a hessian background.
No hand basin in the bathroom and a dad who shaved at the kitchen sink.
Dripping.
The constant smell of Butcher's Tripe dog food.

Orange furniture! I was a 70s child and there is a photo of me and my siblings sitting on an orange chair inntge living room. Everything in the 70s seened to be orange, mustard or brown coloured! Clothing and decor.
I still do have a record player (modern) and a folding flap table which is really useful.
