Been done to death but I love these threads.

We're having pulled pork enchiladas tonight, what's everyone else having?

pork chops
new potatoes
tender stem brocolli
tomatoes
mushroom

GloomySkies · 27/09/2023 18:54

I made a really nice chicken and veg soup. The DC declared it horrible and had cheese sandwiches. More fool them.

Namechange20100 · 27/09/2023 18:54

Great thread!

We just had sausage, eggs, and chips. Pudding was a Muller corner with the chocolate balls for me, a toasted waffle with ice cream and Nutella for DS and DH had a jam roly Poly type sponge with Custard. Don't normally do pudding.

Yesterday, we had BBQ Pulled Pork and rice.

Chicken again always chicken in this cost of living crisis!

ODFOx · 27/09/2023 18:56

Carbonara with broccoli florets as well as pancetta in it, side salad.

weegiemum · 27/09/2023 18:58

Do it yourself in our house tonight.

Dd2 - an assortment of things she bought at the Asian supermarket this afternoon, she's currently very into Korean food.

Ds - (visiting from his student flat to do his laundry) has already eaten most of the beige food in the freezer, which is good as he asked for it.

Dh - pizza he picked up in Asda this evening.

Me - probably a sandwich, involving dairylea. I'm not very hungry!

i was going to say I made sushi but I only sort of did as it was a mess but popular - I didn’t bother shaping it so everyone just got a mound of sushi rice with thinly sliced salmon and ginger on top and soy sauce . Then Mochi icecream as we are in denial of any autumnal weather and impending storm!

Iwasafool · 27/09/2023 19:08

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, yorkshires, peas, carrots, broccoli. Chicken curry tomorrow with the left overs.

Terrifyingface · 27/09/2023 19:10

Honey and soy marinated salmon with noodles asparagus and broccoli. Out of the 20 min roasting tin book - it’s a godsend for midweek!

TheChippendenSpook · 27/09/2023 19:11

I'm at work and had McDonald's. I was going to have KFC but they had no beans. Sad times!

I love how sometimes people feel they have to justify why they're having what they're having on these threads, as if they fear being judged. Grin

ladybird30 · 27/09/2023 19:11

We've got beef satay noodles in the slow cooker.

Highly recommended Bored of Lunch if you need inspo!

You say that but I did chicken thighs last night and was shocked to see they’re 4.20 in Tesco now 🙈

TheClitterati · 27/09/2023 19:12

We had the Barbie viral pasta made with some freshly picked beetroot.

I loved it
Dd1 - ok
Dd2 - not so much of a fan.

It was unbelievably pink.

With kale garlic chips.

DareDDaze · 27/09/2023 19:13

Rump steak, cream sauce, fried baby potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, green salad with rocket.

TheTecknician · 27/09/2023 19:13

Chicken chow mein from Sainsbury's and Singapore noodles from Waitrose. Plus Viognier white wine, which I'm told suits Asian cuisine.

CarlosSainzAKASmoothOperator · 27/09/2023 19:13

Thai green curry

DawnInAutumn · 27/09/2023 19:14

I am having troubles getting my 13 year old autistic son to eat food. So today he had cheesy fries and meatballs. He ate about a third of it.

Usually i can get a chocolate complan milkshake into him- but not for the last week or so.

DH and DS2 had ratattouille and fried eggs and baguette.

WhatACluster · 27/09/2023 19:14

Thai red curry!

Tapas of ham, cheese, chicken croquettes, tomato bread and prawn skewers. I’m overseas on holiday.

That sounds like a dream.. where abouts are you holidaying?

Chicken Paella, weaning a 1 year old so vary basic but yummy

MadCattery · 27/09/2023 19:18

Baked salmon, salad and rice with leftover homemade dinner rolls

Puffalicious · 27/09/2023 19:18

Boringly, batch cooked spag bol , but was v tasty with oodles of parnesan & fresh basil. Mid week saviour.

Have had a text from DS1 at uni flat (same city) who's a bit under the weather, so doing a mum dash with ice cream - means I have the excuse to eat lots too!

Ladyj84 · 27/09/2023 19:19

Tonight was lasagne but due to an emergency it's turned into a quick sandwick
