Been done to death but I love these threads.

We're having pulled pork enchiladas tonight, what's everyone else having?

OP posts:
Walikingdeadfan · 27/09/2023 18:22

Tuna pasta bake - the kids have at least eaten some of it!

Icequeen01 · 27/09/2023 18:22

Chilli. I'm not keen but the others love it so I cook it for them 😇 I might have a couple of poached eggs on toast for my tea.

RedLem0nade · 27/09/2023 18:22

Oooh @BerriesNutsConkers could you share the recipe? Sounds delish.

Spag Bol for us from a previous batch cook. Low effort midweek meal!

Walkerbean16 · 27/09/2023 18:26

Sausage and bean chilli casserole type thing.

Literally just sat down to eat so thought I'd add a picture!

Home made hot smoked and regular salmon fish cakes, tomato salad and peas. Followed by apple cake which used up 8 apples from the mountain 😁

Inextremis · 27/09/2023 18:32

Chicken thigh traybake with potatoes, sweet potatoes, red onion, red peppers, garlic, and chorizo, sprinkled with hot smoked paprika. Almost ready!

ghostbusters · 27/09/2023 18:33

Loaded baked potato soup.
My local refill shop does Hello Fresh style meal kits. It's basically a thinned down cheese sauce with potatoes, bacon and more cheese. I kept the recipe and we have it often.

I’m on my own tonight so I’ve just polished off homemade defrosted dhal, rice and the last of my homemade naan bread. Triple carbs!! Delish.

Freepublictransport · 27/09/2023 18:33

It was all bought in Aldi - salmon already marinated, bag of gnocchi, jar of tomato sauce and a bag of salad with carrots and cabbage in it. It’s more mess and tidy up to make cheese on toast.

BlueKaftan · 27/09/2023 18:35

Tapas of ham, cheese, chicken croquettes, tomato bread and prawn skewers. I’m overseas on holiday.

InTheStars · 27/09/2023 18:35

Cajun red beans and rice

sunshineandshowers21 · 27/09/2023 18:39

my partner’s took the kids out for tea after their clubs tonight so i’ve had an entire bag of chicken dippers with bbq sauce. eaten in bed whilst watching friday night dinner and drinking leftover champagne. absolutely heavenly!

MillicentMaybe · 27/09/2023 18:40

Meatballs (Ikea) in an invented sauce in the air fryer, was yum. Thickly sliced some new potatoes, par boiled, then into the second tray of the air fryer. Frozen peas on the side

its coming up to the end of the month so I’m getting incentive.

Citygirlrurallife · 27/09/2023 18:40

Jacket potatoes - with hummus and kimchi for me, tuna and sweetcorn Mayo for the others

GreenTuraco · 27/09/2023 18:40

Coconut chicken and aubergine curry with rice, fresh mango for after

Ginmonkeyagain · 27/09/2023 18:40

Broccoli and smoked salmon risotto. With some courgette ribbons if I am right in thinking there is still half a courgette in the fridge (am still at work 😐)

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 27/09/2023 18:42

Smoked haddock and spinach fish pie with tenderstem broccoli on the side. It’s bubbling away in the oven waiting for DH to get home.

Cauliflower, spinach and paneer curry with wholemeal rice and a healthy apple and raisin ‘crumble’ using oats and walnuts. The first meal I’ve cooked this month due to Covid and fatigue- I’ve done nothing else all day.

RoyKentFanclub · 27/09/2023 18:46

Chicken parmigiana with hasselback potatoes peas and sweetcorn

SherbetLemonn · 27/09/2023 18:46

Enchiladas! Super easy to make and quick too given that I missed lunch and am about to chew my own arm off 🤣

Cupofteaandcrackers · 27/09/2023 18:47

We've just had Spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread and dc2 aged 14 asked why I was spoiling him. I asked what he meant and apparently homemade garlic bread on a week day is treat! Glad jes still easily pleased.
He'll be even happier tomorrow when I tell him it's fish and chips for tea because dc1 has a hospital appointment and we'll be late home. But I'll tell dc2 I'm spoiling him again!

FedUpWithEverything123 · 27/09/2023 18:49

I love what everyone else is having!
I'm under the weather so just a mug of Lemsip for me.

MooseAndSquirrelLoveFlannel · 27/09/2023 18:50

Chicken and chorizo stew with pasta.

One of the few meals everyone will eat (although need to pick out the chicken for DD11) so it's always a winner. Chuck in the slow cooker and done.

Alas, I'm not feeling well with stomach ache so I can't eat tonight.

Snowpaw · 27/09/2023 18:51

A shite bland chicken casserole that is too dry but I am in process of boiling up a kettle for some Bisto to add on top to improve things the best I can....ohhhh man.
