Anything similar to anchor butter and the anchor spread?

Ive switched from Anchor to Lurpak. Not because it's cheaper, it's just more spreadable (why is that)? I don't eat much butter anyway but have it on baked potatoes and cooking.

Still on Waitrose butter (£3.75 for 500g). Prefer it to Anchor. Wouldn't buy a spreadable, there's always 10 secs in the microwave to soften.

Still salted proper butter, but using less of it.

It’s not a downgrade, it tastes good but aldi butter, Aldi choc hazelnut spread, Aldi biscuit spread (basically biscoff), I always get supermarket own jams for about 20p.

@Fallingthroughclouds Interesting, but that has no effect to what it tastes like to me and I wasn't basing my palette on the traditional process. Not sure how traditional adding rapeseed oil to butter like Lurpak do is though. I'll stick to the yellow salty stuff thanks 😊
Lurpak doesn't have rapeseed's oil. Unless you jean the spreadable stuff. All spreadable has stuff added. That's how the make it spreadable. But it's still predominantly butter. I'm struggling to see how you think any spreadable butter tastes less buttery than the Flora spreadable you like. That's not even butter. It's 75% vegetable fat.

I was talking about spread alternative like Utterley Buttlerley. They are not claiming to be butter.

I still hate Lurpark, even if it is made by a milkmaid in the back parlour.

Morrisons savers range or Asda. If I'm in Aldi I get their salted butter.

They all cost the same £1.79
