Anyone going on holiday at October half term?

... If so, where are you going and how much is it costing?

We've been looking at 3 nights in Rome, but its pushing £2000 for three of us (2 adults and a 16yo DC) so we haven't committed yet.

Centreparcs elvedon. £1100 Monday - Friday.

6 nights in lanzarote. All inclusive. £2350. Me and 2 DC.

Caravan in Suffolk £300!

Sorrento. Don't know cost but not expensive. EJ flights and a self catering through vrbo.

We're going to Florida. It's costing a small fortune but we have been saving for years for this so I don't mind too much

Germany for four days. Hotel is about £800, flights are £600 and we'll need to factor in spending money while away for museums and trains etc. Myself, DH and DD. We only had a short UK city break in the summer so I'm really looking forward to it.

IoW for five days.

Lisbon, was about £40 each for the flight, and approx £60 per night for the accommodation. That's me and 11yr old DS.

Venice for 6 nights. Flights 400, aparthotel in Mestre 750, for 4 (3 adults) of us.

Week in Cornwall £700.

A week in Florida. £4k

That's for two adults one child

I'm reluctant because of the Spanish security airport strikes October half term,

We (2 adults and 2 teens) are going to Majorca for 7 days. Flights through Ryanair and hotel booked separately, self catering. Cost £1150 :)

2 nights in a Premier Inn in Canterbury. £96.

8 nights HB in 5 star Tenerife for 2 adults and 2 17 year olds in 2 rooms - £4350.

On holiday now and travelling home on the ferry at the end of half term. Have 3 stopovers 1 in Spain and two in France on the way to the ferry which are £120- £150 a night. Hope clearing border control in Portsmouth isn't too bad.

Fuerteventura- 7 nights self catering 4 of us £2350

Funnily enough we’re going to Rome although our half term is different from some others it would seem. We’re on half term the week of Halloween so Oct-Nov.

Doing 3 nights and flights with BA for £350pp. Get checked baggage included but do have to fly from Heathrow.

Pompeii and Rome. Travel and accommodation about £1,500 for the 3 of us. I need to book the places we’re visiting next week.

A week in Iceland, postponed from April 2020, £4.5k, 2 adults, 2 teens.

£3300 Disneyland 4 nights, hotel with half board, tickets, fast passes for one day, airport transfers, etc

£700 Paris hotel plus breakfast 3 nights

So just over £4k with meals in Paris and excursions to add.

Disneyland paris for 5 days, family of 5. It cost 2.5k with accommodation, flights, princess dining and character dining. I'm taking another £1200 for spends and meals. We booked Novemeber 2022.
