We've been looking at 3 nights in Rome, but its pushing £2000 for three of us (2 adults and a 16yo DC) so we haven't committed yet.

Three nights in a Premier Inn in London, about £280

A cruise! 10 of us. About £20k I reckon.

AI Turkey. Not sure of full cost but about £3000 for 3 kids and 3 adults

We are going to Sorrento for 5 nights and staying in a lovely hotel. It has cost just over £2,000 for DH and I. That includes flights, private transfer and hotel.

New York for 5 nights (plus one more on the plane). Costing £3k for 4 including flights with regional add on and decent hotel (kids are teens so full priced) plus spending money.

Four nights in a lodge in Devon with a private hot tub....£280

10 nights in Rome & Tuscany - flights £400, Airbnb £1200 + car rental, food etc for 4 of us. We are able to leave on the 26th though..

Switzerland, to stay with friends. £400 on flights so far ( two adults, two DC). The costs will rack up with travel and eating though!

I’m considering centre parcs (but the cheapest option was £2250 for our family of 5 when I was looking) or we might get flights to Nice and an Airbnb type place.

It’s a very long half term with us this time (8 weeks or so) and I think we’ll all be knackered by the end of it, so need a break if we can get one!

AI in Malta for a week - 2 adults and 2 kids for £2k.

12 nights Boston / New York (we have a 2 week half term). £5.5k for flights and hotel for 3. I'm budgeting about £5k for internal trains / food / attractions / spending etc.

It's been a long time coming and alot more than our usual break which would be a sub £1k European city break.

Turkey for a week.5 star all-inclusive £1900 for 2 adults and 1 child

£1,900 self-catering, private pool, flights and hire car to Nerja (near Malaga). Only been to Barcelona once for a weekend so no idea what to expect. That's for 2 adults and 1 child btw. Still need to factor in food.

We've plumped for Dubrovnik in the end, or rather the nearby seaside village of Mlini. £1400 for 3 of us for 3 nights, bed-and-breakfast, flying from Heathrow.

Center parcs in the Netherlands. About £1000 including travel, same in UK at the time of booking was £1500 just for CP

Disneyland Paris, we think. Looking like £3k for flights, accommodation, 4 days of park passes, character dining x2 and half board. Haven't actually booked it yet 😬

Ribby Hall village near Blackpool 2 adults, 2 kids in a lodge with hot tub, about £1000 I think. Scottish half term so marginally cheaper. It’s our only holiday this year so hoping it will be good.

Northumbria £450 for me &teen ds.

We'll do Hadrian's Wall, dark skies observatory, Lindisfarne, Newcastle city centre on a Saturday night😀

A Haven in Norfolk, , 4 night, £440.

Naples for 4 days, myself and 2 teenagers. £1100 for the flights, hotel and guided trip to Versuvius/Pompeii.

Four nights in Menorca, booked months ago. Flights £536 and £280 on airbnb's.

me and two kids £1350😃

6 nights, cottage on South East Coast. £300 + trainfare.

Had great weather when we did it last Ocotber half term but know lightning doesn't strike twice.

Sounds like an absolute bargain.
