I was the first to call it out on the previous thread and this will be my last post on this one. I'm convinced. I believe the OP is associated with Dispatches and has seeded this thread.

This is the story, the speculation, hyperbole, rumours, defamation, witch-hunt...post on here with names at your peril - you're the subject of tomorrow's Dispatches.

But is that really worth a 90 minute expose? Surely that's more of a slightly extended piece on the regular news.

The TV media industry is incestuous. They talk. Rumours are flying.

It will be fairly solid by the morning as to what's going on. Like with Huw Edwards which everyone was very much aware of within the industry before it was official.

On a Google news search there have been lots of news stories about RB and his wife in the last 24 hours, nothing for about a month previously, whereas other celebs I tried have a generally steady influx of articles or nothing much at all, definitely not several out of nowhere. Maybe coincidence though

Yes. Look at how many big sites are involved in this, how many news outlets, gossip sites... lots of lawyers could get very rich from this.

Are there any comedians who have been knighted. I'm absolutely not accusing all knights or dames in any way; but it's amazing how many of them that are given the honour do end up being proven to be wrong 'uns.

@CynicalUsee I agree. I can’t see Dispatches (whose modus operandi is to report on things that affect society) running a 3 year investigation into sleazy celebs.

It would need to be something so shocking it’s going to bring down a whole industry (doubtful since it’s apparently A list comedians - is there even such a thing? Must do better with your ‘leaks’ Channel 4).

I just can’t see it. Literally nothing to do with celebs would shock me anymore. Dispatches runs stories on things with much wider reaching consequences than this. I’ll be disappointed in them if they actually have lowered themselves to celebrity exposees.

In the likelihood that it IS to do with how rumours spread, we should all stop speculating and watch their story crumble because society haven’t done what they expect us to do.

@LondonMummer I am absolutely not in anyway associated with Dispatches! What a ridiculous thing to say. I’m actually laughing at the suggestion😂 I really wish I did have such a glamorous job. Thanks for the laughs though 😂😂😂
