A lot of people won't know who he is, I only remember him from Big brothers big mouth which was hardly mainstream viewing.

Of course it might not be about Brand but he might be feeling guilty about something.

Regarding the Russell Brand video, I love the way that he slips in words like baroque and metastasised to remind us he is Clever but doesn't know how to use 'refute' correctly.

I guess that once your ego reaches a certin size you can't register the difference between declaring that something is false and demonstrating its falsity.

There's me joking about James Cordon and I've just remembered that Stacey & Ness in Gavin & Stacey "joke" about not being mentioned in RBs book after a "cracking night together"

If it is Brand this is hardly big news. He’s not done anything in decades and I think most people have written him off as a mentalist.

I don’t think it will end RB’s career though. He has a lot of fans from who will just dismiss this as plot to silence him, stop him upsetting the establishment… ad infinitum.
If anything I can imagine him gaining more popularity from certain groups of people.

And people have largely seem to have forgotten about Dan Wooton and the allegations against him were terrible.

I would say it is a sign of someone without a lot of formal education who has done a lot of reading to try and make up for it.

Someone has pointed out to me that the 3pm timing of The Sunday Times could be more intentional than just getting everything out pre-Dispatches. 3pm BST is 7am in LA so they've posited it could be James Corden as it would be news over there too as he had his career over there.

I’m inclined to think it’s a Brass Eye type spoof to demonstrate that a lie can get halfway round the internet world before the truth can get its boots on.
RB would be fine with joining in with it, he’s made no secret of his past behaviour.

But we will see.

Due to the broadcast time, 3pm UK, does that mean that it is unlikely to be anything where sexual abuse can be discussed at length and in detail? For 90 minutes.
