Apparently the biggest news story of the year is going to break over the weekend

It’s all overTwitter, or X as it’s now called. One of the Sunday papers is working on a massive story and all staff weekend leave has been cancelled. Channel 4 is showing an episode of ‘Dispatches’ tomorrow night at 9pm but haven’t said what it’s about and lots of people are putting two and two together and saying it’s in conjunction with the following days papers.

David Jason rumours have been kicking around for a very long time. I suspect that if it is a comedian and they've 3-years worth of footage it is someone more recent. Likely SC, RB (although 90-mins to know what we already know is too much), DW. I suspect it is DW the most as it coincides with his comeback.

It won't be about aliens as that was on mainstream news last night, all that's been happening in America, and they said there was no proof.

I can’t imagine Dispatches spending time divulging scandals about comedians/a comedian, not the Sunday Times, unless it’s really explosive news.
I’d have thought it’s more likely to be politician(s) or royalty.

I suppose a mass exposé of a number of comedians could warrant all of this fuss. I doubt it will be about a single person though.

I don't think SC skeletons are in any closet, I'm sure there's been plenty of gossip about him over the years, which he's mainly admitted to E.g. visiting lap dancing clubs which led to his divorce from his (possibly aristocratic?) wife, stuff Courtney Love disclosed about their liaison, his cocaine addiction....... etc. all quite publicly known. So if it is him it must be something quite dodgy!

I think it's that word "systematic" which could make this a Dispatches level story. And perhaps, as Richard Nixon would tell you, the coverup rather than the crime.
