Apparently the biggest news story of the year is going to break over the weekend

It’s all overTwitter, or X as it’s now called. One of the Sunday papers is working on a massive story and all staff weekend leave has been cancelled. Channel 4 is showing an episode of ‘Dispatches’ tomorrow night at 9pm but haven’t said what it’s about and lots of people are putting two and two together and saying it’s in conjunction with the following days papers.

I find it sort of disturbing people are more concerned that it's not their favourite comedians.

I get it, but they do say never meet your heroes. Most celebrities are egotistical self-righteous pricks at the very best. This would not surprise me at all and I can hear the conspiracy theorists all tapping at the keyboards writing their "I told you so" articles....

I still don't get it. If someone (comedian/royal/politician/whatever has done something ILLEGAL they will have been arrested by now and this wouldn't be a revelation. What would they be doing - arresting someone live on TV ?
Unless this is a dead person and even then what can possibly be told that would take 90 minutes.

It's many repeats of a screen shot of one post somewhere (no hint of assessment of it's reliability) I've seen it in a few places now, and I think it's just getting re-posted over and over and getting a life of its own.

The only comedian things I have seen in the last week on X was a scandal about Chris Rock but dunno if that would be relevant over here or Dispatches etc.
