I like how the main course is dauphinois potatoes, with a side of pork belly rather than the other way around 😁

The main was going to be just dauphinois but I gently encouraged her to add some meat and veg. Not sure I could eat an entire meal of just the potatoes. Even though I love dauphinois!

She's been amazing. She has a 90's playlist running for us and we've now moved into the dining room restaurant for the main. Candles lit and Sauvignon Blanc has been served.

Crackling didn't crackle but it's looking and smelling great. Haven't the heart to go in and tell her to grill the crackling. The pork is gonna tast amazing though. Plus, it's all about dauphinois tonight!!
