What snack food, that once you start eating, you have trouble stopping

Mine is walkers Worcestershire sauce French fries. I don’t get them very often as only Asda sells them round here and my local Asda is a 20 min drive away.

When I start eating a packet, I end up getting another beer soon after. I have to physically say, no more!!! I would, and have done, eaten an entire 6 pack before.

Tunnocks tea cakes.

They come in packs of six because that's the serving size, no?

NooNakedJacuzziness · 02/09/2023 09:52

These - I can go through a packet in approx 60 seconds

Pringles

BlackberryCrumbs · 02/09/2023 10:07

Roasted and salted cashews.

Even when I stop myself because I'm starting to feel sick with the salt, my hand reaches for more. Far too moreish.

MoorlandWanderer · 02/09/2023 10:07

Those grab bags of cadbury choc eg twirl, buttons, wispa. All choc in general. Crisps.

I have had to cut out crisps and choc from my diet entirely, cold turkey, in order to curb it because I can’t be trusted not to scoff loads if I let myself even have one.

AllOfThemWitches · 02/09/2023 10:11

Popcorn weirdly enough because I don't even particularly love it

DavinaTheDreadful · 02/09/2023 10:12

Doritos (I actually think they might have msg in them which I think makes it hard to stop eating)

SweetAndSourChick3n · 02/09/2023 10:13

Jaffa cakes!

Crikeyalmighty · 02/09/2023 10:13

Pringles or mcvities cheddars

Berlinlover · 02/09/2023 10:14

Pringles.

Robinbuildsbears · 02/09/2023 10:15

Haribo giant strawbs

rhino12345 · 02/09/2023 10:16

Peanut M&Ms. I haven't bought any for YEARS (possibly 10 years now 😂) as once I start eating them I can't physically stop

Meceme · 02/09/2023 10:16

All of it! 🙄

DelilahBucket · 02/09/2023 10:16

Tortilla chips and ocado soured cream and chive dip or homemade Guacamole, or any dip really!.Oregano Lays when on holiday (thank God you can't get them on regular UK supermarkets😂).

Sleepeazie · 02/09/2023 10:17

BadHairBae · 02/09/2023 10:17

My current crack is M&S assorted toffees, especially the chocolate ones. I can whiz through a bag without stopping.

Beeinalily · 02/09/2023 10:18

I like chocolate, can have a piece, enjoy it, then stop. Except for Cadburys - I don't know what the mystery ingredient is, but I just can't stop eating until it's gone. Whatever it is, it's in Dcat's Dreamies as well I think!

Thebigblueballoon · 02/09/2023 10:19

Pickled onion Monster Munch. They are fucking evil.

Bassetlover · 02/09/2023 10:20

Cheeselets! Thank God you can only really find them at Christmas!

CopperLion · 02/09/2023 10:24

I don’t even like Pringles that much, but if I eat one I literally cannot stop reaching for more. Like a pp I suspect it’s MSG or similar that does it. No one here has said they can’t stop eating apples…!

SuperiorM · 02/09/2023 10:25

Cashews and most peanuts. KP have chilli peanuts and the spicy taste limits consumption. M and S sell Katsu crisps that are quite moreish

Storynanny1 · 02/09/2023 10:26

Rich tea fingers - not the round ones though bizarrely
Walkers cheese and onion crisps - I’m old enough to remember having to buy them in the midlands when visiting family and taking them back down south where they were y yet sold ( 7’s/80’s)
Pistachio nuts
Cadbury grab bags of twirl, fudge etc - not buttons
Cadbury strawberry and orange creams
Popcorn - the sweet one not salty
And possibly I’m the only person in the world who still loves creme eggs - I’m too embarrassed to say how many I could eat…,

I can’t have any of these in the house as I’d be out of control. I just buy one now and again and eat it before I get home!

Storynanny1 · 02/09/2023 10:29

Oh and those crinkly mini cheddars, not the flat ones they are too greasy!
It must be the msg as Om perfectly in control over all veg and meat. If it’s msg though I’m not sure why I don’t find KFC so moreish like my husband does
We eat really healthily 95% of the time though.
