If you can't say children/loved ones/friends?

What other than people matters to you?

I was asked today and I think it might be my work! I'm not sure I like that.

Probably my home. The place where I feel safe and relaxed and where I get to have ideas about decoration, furnishing etc.

ohcrums · 24/08/2023 18:03

My home

Holly60 · 24/08/2023 18:04

My health

PictureConsequences · 24/08/2023 18:04

Other than people, can I say my dog?

bluebellart · 24/08/2023 18:04

A safe, tolerant, inclusive society.

blueraininlondon · 24/08/2023 18:05

My dog and husband first and then my house!

SouthLondonMum22 · 24/08/2023 18:05

Equality.

Interesting. I don't feel like that about home at all. I live alone and own my own house. Home is a source of stress to me, there's always something that needs fixing or maintaining, requiring skills and contacts I don't have and then there's dealing with tradesmen. Even when it's all running smoothly, there are always jobs that need doing.

My pup. She's literally my saviour. I'm grateful to have a good career and my own home but my mental health is very important, and that is what my pup saves.

Doyoumind · 24/08/2023 18:07

Me and my needs? I mean, I don't really attach any importance to myself but if I'm not allowed to say family, then I guess it's the logical answer.

Amen to this I feel secure that I own my own home and I live alone. However, there is literally always something to be done.🤯🤯

Yes, owning it does give security (or I'd rent) but it's not just the something always needs doing, it's the stress of getting it done. E.g. I had some plumbing work done. It took me ages to find a plumber who wanted the work, he's been, but there's a small leak and he's not returning calls!

My health, my dog, my home

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 24/08/2023 18:11

My sanity.

Fizzology · 24/08/2023 18:13

My health. Specifically, feeling well and fit enough to walk and cycle and swim. Not triathalons, just being able to move about freely, without pain, without difficulty.

Closely followed by financial security.

Toloveandtowork · 24/08/2023 18:14

My freedom

fussychica · 24/08/2023 18:15

Health of our family, home, financial security.

FionnulaTheCooler · 24/08/2023 18:16

My cats. Well, one of them anyway. The other one is a dickhead.

NuffSaidSam · 24/08/2023 18:18

My immediate thought was my hobby.

But I suppose actually my health is more important than that.

Bonjovispjs · 24/08/2023 18:18

Cheese 🧀 🤣

peachgreen · 24/08/2023 18:19

Probably my home, but my resolution is for it to be my physical and mental health.

bert3400 · 24/08/2023 18:19

My health and then my business

PollyCreo · 24/08/2023 18:21

Usually, my health and fitness. However it's taken a nose dive over the last four months and I'm fighting for survival now.

Inextremis · 24/08/2023 18:22

My dogs (who are both getting on in years), and my home, and the contents of my freezer :) DH would come first if we were including loved ones - he's the only family I've got!

squarecircled · 24/08/2023 18:22

I am. My health, physical and mental, my leisure time, my relationships, my work life balance.

Maybe selfish, but true!
