Woolworths pic&mix

When they closed, why did no other company 'steal' the pic&mix off the suppliers and start selling it?

And why has no one tried to do similar since? Pic&mix since has been shit when compared to woolies.

Did woolworths make them all themselves?

I do miss the Wilko Pick and Mix. No where local here sells it anymore apart from Poundland, but their selection is not very big, although the price is not bad.

I have used Sweetzy a few times. I wasn't too keen on their fudge, but I'm not a huge fudge fan anyway. I also used sweetsdirect.co.uk/product/create-your-own-mix/ — quite easy to select what you want there.

Some websites make it so difficult. I'm trying to cut down on sweets, lol, so I try to avoid TikTok because it's just so tempting, as a lot of people sell sweets on it and they keep popping up on my fyp.

Thanks @maldivemoment . I don't want to seem ungrateful and it's nice to be able to taste the sweets again but it's not quite the same online. I miss Woolworths.

I don't remember ever getting a woolies pick n mix. I have fond memories of going down to the village shop with a 50p and picking out a selection of penny sweets.

Hastings Morrisons has a pick and mix

I agree but it's a lot more hygienic buying online. Makes me feel a little queasy thinking of all the dirty hands that went into the Woolworths/Wilko pick and mix displays. And they probably were not cleaned much, certainly back in the day.

Do not remind me how much I would regularly spend (about £15!).

Unfortunately I always went for the heavy sweets - usually chewy toffees and caramels. Hmmm wonder why I have so many fillings....

Had a code off Sweets Direct, min spend £5, not sure if it will work for everyone THANKYOU20 also youpickwemix I have seen a 25% code but it was on a Facebook Ad.

It's just too easy to order sweets online lol, getting cravings at midnight.
