Some posts with 'edited' at the end, Never seen this before.

Have seen a few posts today that have 'edited' at the bottom. I've never seen this before and I've been here years! It doesn't state why it's been edited so am curious.

Is it a new thing?

there's a timer on it - I think 10 mins. So if you let the keyboard run away with you and have any regrets get in quickly

Well the "preview" button has always been there - you can review and edit your text before hitting post. Why not just use this?
