Currently really fancying the ww chicken & wedges, it was in a nice tomato sauce but I also really miss the slimming world tomato and bean soup that came in a pouch.

I realise these are both diet foods and tomato based, maybe I should just go and make a tomato salad 😂

Tesco used to do a lovely raspberry torte. I look every time on the off chance it’s reappeared but not seen it in 15 years. Had a thin sponge bottom, raspberry mousse and a thin layer of raspberry sauce. Could eat it in one sitting…

M and S used to do a little pot of carrot sticks and the top had a separate pot of thousand island sauce. Only thousand island sauce that’s come close is at the Pizza Hut salad bar. Last seen the carrots around 20 years ago… sad times.

Vesta Beef Risotto

From the 90s - I think it was Batchelors - did a packet of garlic rice.
Put it in the microwave with 3/4 pt of water and a large dollop of butter on medium for 20 mins and you could fell a Frenchman at 30 feet with your garlic breath. Could have lived off that stuff.

I think it was called sun juice - a tropical fruit juice from M&S in a blue carton- it was amazing! And there were some amazing oaty chocolate coated biscuits from M&S again

Uncle Ben's do a roasted garlic rice.

Iceland did these a couple of years ago, I got 2 boxes but they seem to have been discontinued again ☹️.

Toffee Crumble ice lolly, loved this but it’s out of stock everywhere and has been for about a year.

An ice lolly called either ‘Zzap’ or ‘Pzazz’, multi coloured and toffee flavoured. Was gorgeous.

Proper raspberry Ribena - as it was, not the shit with sweetener.

Dane pack cheese & bacon grills.

Asda used to do ready meals in pouches, there was a Thai prawn one. It was so handy and easy for work or a quick tea if you were late in. Had loads of fresh veg, it was a ‘fresh’ meal, rather than the ones in trays that last longer. They haven’t done that range for over 10 years but I still live in hope every time I go in!

Sports biscuits. Almost like a malted milk, but with pictures of people playing sports on them. I can’t find them anywhere.

Wow,I had completely forgotten about these! I loved them. It seems odd they stopped making them as the ingredients must be fairly simple. Maybe it got too expensive/difficult to cut into triangles?!

Yes, those chicken tikka sandwiches were amazing. Just the right amount of lettuce and yoghurt dressing too. Perfect. I also loved the M&S ham and egg rolls with lettuce, they were oval with seeds on top.

Every time I like something and buy it often, it goes. Sounds like I'm not on my own there.

Lyon’s individual apricot pies which were like Mr Kipling but bigger. I had them in the 60s for school trips as a treat
