A week's all expenses paid holiday in either Las Vegas or the Yorkshire coast. Which would you go for ?

I'll take the Yorkshire coast, any time of year. A small holiday apartment, pub or hotel room in Whitby, Sandsend or Robin Hood's Bay would be awfully grand. I admit I've not been to Las Vegas but, nonetheless, it just doesn't appeal.

If somebody was paying LV obviously. We went last year and it's absolutely bonkers I loved it though but wouldn't pay to go back somebody else though!

Las Vegas - because there is a lot more to Las Vegas than just neon. Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire state park, Hoover Dam, go and see Cirque du Soleil, the Sphere, there's an indoor theme park at one of the casinos (Circus Circus maybe?), there's shopping, restaurants, lounge bars, live music. And there is the desert.

I’d take their arm off for vegas. Can go to Whitby anytime I want, plus the weathers shit.

I live on the North Yorkshire coast and would rather stay at home, even without expenses, than go to Las Vegas.

I'd go to Staithes, have had some lovely holidays there

Definitely Vegas, we went for 3 days as my husband wanted to go as part of a multi city holiday. I really wasn't keen as I'm not a gambler but absolutely loved it and wished we'd went for longer.

Can I have two or three days in Vegas instead? I honestly don’t think I could stand a week.

We didn't gamble although I did do a couple of slot machines hardly high stakes , definitely no escorts !

There is loads to do without partaking in vices😃

Las Vegas doesn’t appeal to me so I was going to say Yorkshire, but someone else made the point that I would never pay to go to Las Vegas but, if someone else is paying, I might go to see what it’s like and might be surprised, I could go to Yorkshire any time.

Las Vegas ! You don’t need yo go anywhere near a casino but have amazing nature and adventure on your doorstep. Yorkshire is beautiful but it’s pretty much the sane nature as you’ll see in the rest of the UK. I never understand people who holiday in the UK , unless it’s a financial issue.

I wouldn't go to Vegas, but thanks to Hollywood I don't really associate it with anything other than gambling, organised crime, prostitutes, and washed-up old entertainers.

Vegas for sure. I had a great time and didn’t go clubbing, didn’t really gamble and definitely no escorts!

The hotels are incredible, great pools. So much entertainment available and you can travel to the Hoover Damn / Grand Canyon very easily.

I went for 5 days and still didn’t get everything done so would definitely go back.

We saw 3 shows in Vegas and the entertainers weren't washed up although there is a seedy undercurrent so I can see why people wouldn't want to go

vegas if only to experience it once and see what can be done. The Sphere is about to open there (astounding) but the hotels are fascinating. Lots to do there.

Vegas every time! I've never been and I just know I will love it - so would my husband.

Can't get excited about Yorkshire, I love the UK and have had many lovely holidays here but I don't feel excited by the prospect if that makes sense?
