What's the most BORING subject people can bring up?

Inspired by another thread. Of all the subjects someone can bring up in conversation what's the one that makes you want to roll your eyes so far back you can see behind your brain?

Definitely politics when people speak at one assuming they are on the same side.

Diets... Fitness regimes... Perosnal diet issues...

Also anything where you aren’t allowed to voice an opinion because you haven’t experienced it yourself is very tedious. It’s probably reasonable not to want the opinions, but in that case don’t bring it up.

Renovation of graves

Their diet
When they went travelling
How well their adult children are doing

Covid

Something they watched on TV. Like a blow by blow retelling of an episode. What the actual hell is that? That's not conversation.

Paul Daniels. He did a private magic show for Pope Benedict at the Vatican and it went horribly wrong. PD was decapitated and Benedict had to retire because he became obsessed with talking about his dreams and the Swiss Guard threatened revolt.

ULEZ expansion. It's coming, end of.

what they did when drunk

Computers/IT. DH is into this, and I glaze over and just hear white noise when he rambles on about it. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 😴

house extensions, traffic, decorating, pets and kids. Yawno.

Fantasy football

Their partner especially if all they're doing is complaining about them

Just had a long conversation about the different kinds of toddler cups. I'm not getting that time back.

Cricket

politics, work, property purchase and any subject that has been mentioned repeatedly in the day

Religion

Generally, anything people want to say.

I mostly love hearing about people's work.

Apart from AI, this is basically what every adult talked about non-stop all the time. I'm not sure how I didn't die of boredom.

I find most topics interesting (especially people's weird dreams!) but I absolutely cannot stand it when people (usually my mother) tell me great detail about the life of someone I've never met and am never likely to meet. Quite literally makes me feel nauseated with boredom 🤢
