If you have no money worries what's the one thing you'd like but cannot buy?

Just curious really - if you have no money worries is anything missing that you cannot buy?

I have a disability.

Even if I was loaded, I would never be able bodied.

CantFindTheBeat · 13/08/2023 18:26

Instead, long lasting, emotionally healthy slenderness.

I wish I could get younger having the menopause zaps your life force. I had money struggles in Covid. Now I could spend but, I’m wary.

Agreeing with another poster time but, a younger healthier version.

For a while we both had decent salaries and low outgoings. Financially we were in a very good place. We had a cool flat, everything new to furnish it. Nice holidays, lots of socialising. On the outside we had it all, however, we were struggling to conceive and stay pregnant. I had 4 miscarriages in a row followed by a stillbirth.
We have less spendable money now. Most of our house needs redoing but we are getting there gradually. The house was wrecked mainly by the kids when they were toddlers. Money couldn't buy them and that was all that I ever really wanted.

For the man I've fallen for to return my feelings.

A way of erasing 40+ years worth narcissistic, gaslighting, triangulating and poisonous memories from my memory.

Health for both my DC.

To be 10 years younger

bonzaitree · 13/08/2023 18:39

I wish I could have back deceased family members- in particular my aunt who died very young.

monpetitlapin · 13/08/2023 18:40

Things in different colours and patterns. As a child I used to think "when I grow up, I'll have car X in yellow" and I had no idea that wasn't an option because they only let you choose from four dismal shades of "anthracite" then one token bright colour.

HumanBurrito · 13/08/2023 18:41

Long-haul flights, with the climate the way it is. Buy-to-lets because I think they are immoral in most cases.

Absolutely the same...my parents died when I was fairly young and never met their grandchildren.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 13/08/2023 18:45

Similarly, I'd like my dad to meet DS. They are so similar, although DDad died 15 years before ds was born.

And my DM's, and everyone else's, cancer to sod off and take Covid with it.

A garden that would maintain itself at a state of seasonal perfection.

cptartapp · 13/08/2023 18:59

To have my parents back. I'd lost them both by 44. Neither made it to 70.

Ditto a self cleaning/tidying/decorating house.

Because even having gardeners/cleaners/interior decorators you still have to mentally plan/manage the upkeep and make design decisions.

More foreign travel

Time just me and DH for a simple date night or a trip away

Being able to eat out at restaurants.

We could afford all of the above but have a DD with complex needs and no "village" so ... It is what it is I suppose.

of course you can, you can get any car wrapped to any colour of your choice!

A trip to the spa. I can’t go because of allergies

a Glowforge. I can’t really justify the price and I don’t have enough space.
