Or whatever you wear at night?

Tempted to do it now but I like to wait until 7 at least...

After 6pm is fair game. Unless it's winter in which case, whenever it gets dark. Although I do like to wait until after dinner.

LibertyLily · 08/08/2023 18:05

Bedtime. I hate wearing pj's or a dressing gown before going to bed as wearing stuff like that in the daytime/evening has associations of being ill for me. (In fact I threw my - very old - dressing gown away today because I associate it with slobbing around/illness).

If I'm at home all day I wear leggings and a jumper which is comfortable bit still ok to go to the door if I'm expecting a parcel.

MaggieBsBoat · 08/08/2023 18:05

As soon as I know I won’t be expected to leave the house again- or 5pm whichever is earlier.

Spookyseasonmum · 08/08/2023 18:08

As soon as I’m home from work and showered, so roughly 1900

DeadButDelicious · 08/08/2023 18:08

I got in at about 4ish I think, knew I wasn't going back out so PJ's went straight on. It's never to early for PJ's 😁.

MyMachineAndMe · 08/08/2023 18:09

I'm still in them.

GigiAnnna · 08/08/2023 18:09

I'm in pj bottoms now because I had a nap earlier as kids were at grandparents. I will have a bath later though and put them back on. If I go out and come home and don't have to go back out I will usually put pj bottoms on but leave my top on till later. I like being comfy.

Cowlover89 · 08/08/2023 18:10

If I'm not doing anything that day I don't change out of them

StEtienne93 · 08/08/2023 18:10

Whenever I know km.not going back out again. Although I've been known to be out in the morning, home all afternoon and back out in the evening. I'd put my pj's on for the afternoon. I like to be comfable.

Grazka · 08/08/2023 18:11

Bedtime

Toddlerteaplease · 08/08/2023 18:12

Bedtime, or when I get home from work if I've been in a long day. I like to be up and properly dressed.

razzlemyfrazzle · 08/08/2023 18:12

I hate pyjamas, I only put them on in the morning when I come down to make a brew or if I'm not sleeping at home.

Parky04 · 08/08/2023 18:14

3:30. Love my PJs.

Chasingsquirrels · 08/08/2023 18:17

I don't, wear clothes I'm comfortable in nearly all the time & sleep naked.

TenoringBehind · 08/08/2023 18:20

9-9:30 pm if I’m at home. Then it’s time for a cup of decaff tea and an hour of tv before bed. I’m a creature of habit.
Same routine but later timing if I’ve been out for the evening.

Ifyouknewmeyouwoudlikeme · 08/08/2023 18:20

If DH is away I'm in them at 6 ish. If he's here I wait til 8pm when I put my youngest to bed. I'm like my Mum she loved to get into her nightwear quite early!

ThePensivePig · 08/08/2023 18:21

As early as possible after work!

wildthingsinthenight · 08/08/2023 18:28

I change into "comfies" as soon as I know I'm not leaving the house again. Then actual pjs at bedtime.
I suppose my comfies are like pjs but a bit more ambiguous for if my someone pops round

Clymene · 08/08/2023 18:28

When I go to bed.

Do you really all cook and eat and drink in clothes that you wear to bed? Eeuw!

gogomoto · 08/08/2023 18:30

As I get into bed. Why would you change before tea?

gogomoto · 08/08/2023 18:31

That said I don't do nightwear, I do own it but it's so uncomfortable

TallerThanAverage · 08/08/2023 18:33

I stay in my smart workwear until I go to bed, then I put my PJs or nightie on.

Farahpascalmoges · 08/08/2023 18:37

11.30pm or later

Mustardforest · 08/08/2023 18:39

I literally live in my pyjamas.

Only ever change into human clothes when leaving the house - 1x a week for office job, 2-3x evenings a week for second job, the odd social occasion.

It's a running joke how I am a pyjama queen and I'm not mad about it :D Still wear fresh ones from shower and they're nice sets mostly. Just whack on a sweater / change into a shirt for Teams calls when needed when WFH.

My excuse is horrendous body issues though, so being in pyjamas 24/7 at home keeps me feeling safe and means I can function at home as normally will have a panic attack or cry when having to change into human clothes to leave the house.

So I appreciate that it's a bit different my case... point is, pyjamas rock and deserve to be showcased before 7pm.

WheresTheRemoteControl · 08/08/2023 18:40

As soon as im home pj bottoms on. Even if going back out again. I then change again.

I like to have shower or bath around 7pm then clean pjs on after
