Shes only in the country till tomorrow though so I am trying to psyche myself up.

Why can mumsnet not actually deal with the tone of the site and the general attitude that leads to these sort of threads being acceptable?

Sorry I'm really upset I'm being attacked on that thread and now someone has said that we should all be in asylums, as good as.

And mumsnet are ok with it because it's still standing. why is it ok to denigrate us like this?

I've just had a brief look at that thread, and I see there's been plenty of deletions, so MN are clearly reading. It happens every fucking weekend (it's always a weekend) People are so nasty, just for nastys sake. Absolute twats. "Not human" WTF?

I honestly don't understand why people scream "free speech" when it's just an excuse to mock and be nasty. It's like folk who say "I call a spade a spade" meaning they are deliberately rude and don't care, or in fact really get off on being offensive.

Also, people on those sort of threads are really predictable and have no originality. They just come back with "snowflakes!" and "why is everyone always so offended?" Err, because you're a bigoted aresehole?

I'd start a thread about why MNHQ permits threads which are anti neurodiversity in general but I wouldn't last two pages. 😪

I tried this before. They said they were "looking into it" and would "report back". Never did, obviously, and have carried on in the same way.

Oh poor thing!! 😔 Nothing useful happens in the last week, and if she's been this unwell rushing back in is not wise: she needs time to recover properly or she'll be susceptible to picking up something else. Plus it will all be out of routine and loud and mayhem with Christmas stuff...

Is she talking again now? I hope she's ok.

There isn't much of a plan tbh here other than blind hope. I'm so weak and out of breath, can barely walk around the house. So annoyed as I was so looking forward to this time off with the kids and now so stressed I can't get things ready for Christmas and enjoy it. Aaaaargh. GP said if any spike in temperature or worsening of breathing I have to go to A&E and I just can't bear it there, I can't cope with it. If I did have to go I could call friends who would come and get my children and have them to stay. Family useless but very lucky to have good friends. GP also said if no better next week when antibiotic course is finished I need to go back. I just want it to stop! I'm in so much pain and I love Christmas, I hardly ever get time off with my children, it's just so unfair. 😔

That thread has finally gone.

Maybe one day people will stop making such awful threads. @RainbowZebraWarrior is right that it seems to be some people's leisure activity.

Well in the end yesterday my friend messaged to ask where to meet and I just told her I was not feeling peopley but she was welcome to come to mine. She offered to cancel but as its been so long since I have seen her and she lives abroad I put on the big girl panties, had a shower, made some nibbles and she came over and it was a really lovely evening in the end. I explained to her my diagnosis and recent break up and she was filling me in on her life and we shared a bottle of wine and I really enjoyed it in the end so glad I did not cancel as I think I perhaps needed the chat.

As a result I clearly missed some nasty threads but thats a good thing cos my emotions are running high right now and I am going from tears to anger to just 'bla' right now and could do without arguing with idiots online.

It's interesting that it finally went shortly after @Nepmarthiturn and I posted drawing comparisons with racism and bringing back apartheid.

Yet again sitting here sobbing thinking stupid scenarios where I would bump into my ex. I am driving myself insane (well more insane lol) with this. He has totally checked out and I am still crazy about him or maybe just crazy but it kills me we are not together. I need a new focus but cant seem to find anything.

Sorry you're feeling like this and I'm sure you aren't psycho bitch from hell. I can't offer any advice I'm afraid as I don't do relationships and have never cared about anyone enough for it to bother me. With your recent diagnosis of ADHD, have you been prescribed meds? (I can't remember if you've mentioned) just wondering if it might help with racing mind / lack of focus / questioning yourself side of things.

I have been given the name of the meds they are putting me on but waiting for the psychiatrists meeting to get the prescription. I just hate that I still love him when I know now we never would have worked out.

I have literally sat here all day thinking about him. I have nothing done in the house, abandoned work completely and the kids be in from school shortly ffs. I wish I could change my focus to anything else as this is not healthy at all.
