I've moved 14 times. Moved out of home at 18 so counting that as first, then moving around as a student, into shared housing, bedsits, in with boyfriends... I'm likely to move again.

@Finnegans I'm impressed, how old are you and what are the circumstances?
I was nomadic, loved to move... now want to be settled but I'm not the settled type it seems.

Once.

I am 63. Not moving again voluntarily.

14 as an adult, at least 10 as a child.

Since I left home I’ve lived in 12 places, I’m 32. Not including a year travelling

23 but lived in my current home 20 years. I’m 50 this year 😊

18 times as an adult. Six or seven as a child.

7 times in the past 10 years

Once as a child. Three times as an adult. I'm 54 now.

I've technically moved 6 times, but that's if you're counting moving to my uni accommodation, then moving back to my parents, moving in with my boyfriend, moving back, and then moving into my own home 5 years ago. So moved 6 times but had 5 homes.

Never as a child, twice as an adult. Only just moved here too so will be a good 10 years before I consider another.

Feel like I’m missing out though? Why are you all moving so much? Are these mortgaged properties?

Since 18, I think I counted 22 times. That's not counting times I've lived temporarily with people in between moves or short jobs abroad (less than 3 months), but does include a few international moves. Plus I think I lived in 5 houses as a child, plus some temporary accommodation. I'm early 40s now and finally bought a house and I literally refuse to ever move again. I'm staying put here for life or until I can no longer live independently. I still haven't unpacked though. Literally lived here nearly 2 years and a lot still in boxes and very little on the walls. I think I don't settle anywhere easily.
