I know it's been done a gazillion times, but this is chat!

Mine is based on a being from a book I'm reading at the moment (or just finished) by Marissa Meyer

My username is accurate

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 25/07/2023 16:44

She's awesome and I'd like to be her.

WhatNoRaisins · 25/07/2023 16:45

Just random words, I've never been any good at usernames

GalileoHumpkins · 25/07/2023 16:46

I used to watch Psych a lot.

JellyComb · 25/07/2023 16:47

Mine is the brand name of the plug in Numeric keypad for my laptop, inches from my right hand.

ButterCrackers · 25/07/2023 16:47

I like butter on crackers

Malarandras · 25/07/2023 16:49

Gamertag.

Patchworksack · 25/07/2023 16:49

From a favourite children’s book (Jack and the Flumflum tree) - the patchwork sack is the answer to all their problems.

ALLiDOisWIN · 25/07/2023 16:51

Mine is a song name from my workout list.

KittensandPerverts · 25/07/2023 16:51

I don't know how much a gallon of milk costs.

Ihateboris · 25/07/2023 16:51

Guess....

GolgafrinchamB · 25/07/2023 16:51

Whatever I’m musing about on the day I decide to change names again.

I was feeling particularly useless, so named myself after the Ark B with the pointless people on it in Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.

Ah the flum flum tree. You've just made me realise I still know it by heart!

I tend to base mine on the time of year - haven't updated
For a while!

IHeartGeneHunt · 25/07/2023 16:53

I really like Gene Hunt.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 25/07/2023 16:54

DGM said I glided around as quietly as the character in the Hitchcock film (that was after I stood behind her armchair and gave her a fright when I said something to her because she hadn't heard me come into the room)

HoobleDooble · 25/07/2023 16:54

DS was a tiny dot sat watching the Hoobs when I joined Mumsnet.

StEtienne93 · 25/07/2023 16:54

I was listening to St Etienne when i needed a new username. I bought my first St Etienne single in 1993.

BogRollBOGOF · 25/07/2023 16:54

I went to Costco in Feb 2020 before bogrolls were trendy.

DrSbaitso · 25/07/2023 16:55

It's an old AI chatbot. Someone once accused me of not being a real doctor. I've never given any medical advice on here, nor claimed to be a real doctor.

Ineedwinenow · 25/07/2023 16:55

Mine speaks for itself Grin

Didn't Adams include telephone sanitisers? never understood that, I like a nice clean work phone. They were all over offices in the 80s and 90s then disappeared.

Gazelda · 25/07/2023 16:57

Many years ago, there was a bought of MN hacking alerts so we were encouraged to name change. I struggled to think of a suitable name on the spur of the moment, and randomly decided to use the name of the good witch in wizard of oz.

Except her name isn't Gazelda, it's Glinda.

I've lived with this big mistake ever since.

BoobyDazzler · 25/07/2023 16:57

I’ve got loads of them, they usually
come to me in the middle of the night 😂
