I used to have an orange theme on names. I think I started as Tangerine dream but I'm not sure. Anyway been this one for more than 15 years now.

My friend gave me a copy of 'The Snow Spider' when I told him I was pregnant because it was his favourite childhood book. A phrase from the book, 'reading by spiderlight', popped into my head when I signed up for MN. It was a description rather than a name - hence the much-frowned-upon lower case - and I've used it for nearly 17 years.
