Can I share my child's amazing new skill with you all?

I will start by saying that my three year old doesn't meet any developmental milestones, he can't sit unaided, can't walk, talk or even roll over but today, when I put him on the his mat on the floor for a bit of wiggle time he managed to work his way off and move himself about 2m across the floor! I have no idea how he did it as I had left the room to make a cup of tea and came back to find him not where I had left him. I have no-one at home to share this wonderous achievement with but would love to share it with someone.

Oh wow! Was there a split second when you wondered where on earth he'd got to?

There was that moment of blind panic where I wondered where the hell I'd left him!

I am going to have to rethink childproofing the hearth now, up until now it has been safe but it is now a perfect place for him to bruise himself while moving about the room.

Thank you everyone, your responses have brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face.

We absolutely do, the smallest of wins is huge for our children (and for us, the endless daily physio might just be paying off!).
