Now you've said it, I do vaguely remember that. I remember some old comments of his about slapping women being talked about at the time.

But if he died 3 years ago, it was presumably when the news was rather dominated by covid, so probably easier to miss?

Yes, you’re right, there were one or two other things going on at the time, but i’m still somehow shocked. It’s made me question what other news i might have blocked out from the time.

I knew that TPT had died and I think I know Sean Connery died but I always confuse him with Michael Caine and I think he is still alive if that makes sense 🤔 😕

I knew, but I'm never very good at remembering when things have happened. I would have definitely guessed within the last ten years though.

My dad and I had this exact conversation about Sean Connery t’other day - neither of us were quite sure if he was alive or dead. Googled it and he died not long after my mum passed away, so entirely reasonable why we forgot/didn’t pay attention.

I'm usually up with celebrity news but I didn't know he had died.

Anti can also mean opposite. So this is the opposite of the Mandela effect, where people thought they could remember finding out he’d died when he was still alive.

Similar thing to the Sean Connery thing happened when Mother Theresa died- it passed a lot of people by completely because it was the week after Princess Diana died.

I had similar several years ago with Whitney Houston. Picked up a magazine, looked at the headline and said to DH and friend "OMG I didn't realise Whitney Houston had died!" The magazine was several years old and they both laughed at me.
