Registry office wedding - have mixed views on this dress…

I really like it, and I know that’s what counts. Had a few people say to me that it’s nice but more as a dress for hen do or reception rather than my actual wedding dress. I think it’s appropriate since we are going to a registry office and for a few nice photos. Do you think it’s underwhelming? Thought it would be best to get multiple opinions!

It's a beautiful dress and absolutely weddingy, especially if you were to get your hair done, wear some bling, and sandals or shoes with a bit of ooomph. Will you have flowers?

Afterwards, you could wear it dressed down to stroll through some exotic little town in a sunny place, or along a beach in the morning, with a straw hat on - I think it's a very romantic dress.

But ridiculously overpriced for polyester - you could get a second hand silk one from EBay

It's beautiful, it seems to fall really nicely and looks so pretty from the back. If you love it - go for it.

I think it’s perfect! It’s a beautiful dress!! I would possibly jazz it up with some statement heels. I’m obsessed with these from monsoon and if I was wearing a shorter wedding dress I’d deffo get these!

Yes exactly this! It's very nice and if you love it then it's perfect, but you don't need to dress down just because your wedding is in a registry office.

I like it.... thought it was a bit plain until I saw the back which I really love. I also think it looks quite underwhelming on the model as her hair and make up is a bit dull.

Yes, polyester is very cheap. It’s what terrible crap from Shein and Primark is made of. It’s also sweaty. Do you have the dress already? I personally can’t bear the feel of polyester.

I think it’s lovely. Part of the reason I would choose a registry office wedding would be so I didn’t have to wear a full-on wedding dress. It’s really elegant and totally suitable for your wedding.

I think its lovely and looks like it will hang really well. With flowers, some pretty jewellery and a lovely hair do ,it will look pretty and understated. If that's the look you are going for then wear it.

The dress you get married in is your wedding dress - it doesn't matter what the manufacturer labels it. That being said, wear the dress that makes YOU happy because you'll hopefully be looking at the photos of you in it for a long time.
