I don't have twitter and haven't seen any theories as to who it is, I'm presuming a man due to the figure outline being used in the press:

BBC news on R4 has just stated the presenter is not scheduled to appear in the near future. So it’s must be someone who does not present every day.

Not at the moment as far as we know but making indecent images of a child is an offence.

The point is that if there is a right to privacy even where there has been an arrest (a public interest in disclosure of name) there 100% will be a greater right to privacy where there hasn't been one (far far weaker public interest in disclosure of name)

Without making any allegations at all, there has been a great deal of talk around the Bachelor Boy's behaviour, since decades before the BBC fiasco. People were saying something about an affectionate name for a baby cat.

It's all v odd. But has morally bankrupt as Katie Hopkins is she is a shrewd business woman. No way would she blatantly name him if in doubt. He would rip her to pieces.

Why didn't The Sun print the name of the presenter?

The parents went to The Sun. The parents claim that a total of £35,000 online payments were made by the presenter to their child and that photographs sent by the presenter.

All they had to do is hand over the evidence of these payments to The Sun. What is there to stop The Sun printing the name of the presenter who made the payments if they have the evidence.

The BBC statement seems to imply that a complaint was made but further information was not forthcoming from the complainants.

Something doesn't add up.

If Katie Hopkins is right I will laugh my leg off. I can't stand the sanctimonious fool. I don't think it is right though.
