I have been looking for some inspiration for a little Exposé of my own.

Flippertyfeckerty · 07/07/2023 10:57

The writing is dreadful. My bet’s on a teenager - a child of his or one of the other women / men that these two seem to have rattled through. If it’s an adult then they’re unhinged with anger (and rather than be horrified as they were at Alice Evans everyone’s lapping it up🤷🏼‍♀️). Nowt so queer as folk! I have no doubt they’ve both behaved dreadfully but the ‘evidence’ presented here on lots of the points is very flimsy - a lot of innuendo and hearsay. Christ, tomorrow will be a difficult day for them!

ifonlyicouldthinkstraight · 07/07/2023 11:01

How do these awful men get so much action?!

This is what I want to know. Is 'power' such a great aphrodisiac?!

MisschiefMaker · 07/07/2023 11:06

The email is horrible and the tone totally cringey. I think @Flippertyfeckerty has it right thinking it's written by a teenager.

This is a line from it. It's clearly implying an assault but doesn't actually say it. I really dislike this. Either make the accusation or don't but don't hint anonymously on such a serious topic, that is a cowardly approach:

Because Luke’s been telling everyone what happened that night in 2019. With you and that girl in a toilet cubicle. That girl who couldn’t even stand up

MsRosley · 07/07/2023 11:10

I don’t condone the (alleged) behaviour, but I have not clicked on any of the links to it as I don’t want to be a tool in someone else’s act of revenge, even less so as part of the threat to other parties.

The rest of us bow our heads in shame in the face of your exemplary moral virtue.

Silkierabbit · 07/07/2023 11:17

Yes I think having access to the whole wedding list narrows it down a lot.

MrsMarzetti · 07/07/2023 11:23

RedToothBrush it is not just the males or the Tories at Westminster ( or any of the other parliment's) that can't behave. I know of one top tier labour party bigwigs whose mistress was paid to have an abortion.

How do these awful men get so much action?!

Why do these awful rich men with lots of political influence get so much action? Hmm let me think 🤔

Lifeomars · 07/07/2023 11:33

I skim read it earlier this morning, not surprising but very sordid and tawdry. I remember him getting booed at the 2012 Olympics and am now wondering if this will happen at his wedding reception.

I'm now in the mood for re-reading some Jilly Cooper for more Awful Posh People merrily shagging other Awful Posh People. Rupert Tory-Bastard was at least supposed to be fit though.

"So, what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels"

ThreeLocusts · 07/07/2023 11:47

Where I'm from (Germany) politicians' private lives are generally left well alone and normally I prefer it that way.

But I lived in the UK during the years of Osborne's austerity and I remember his constant bullying of the poor and the sick, by rhetoric and policy. He seemed to believe that being poor is a moral failing, and conversely that he was a great bloke because he had inherited wealth.

Against this background, I think this email deserves to be very widely read. Osborne is an odious man who deserves to be taken down several pegs, even by means of innuendo.

Nasty.

And only effective as revenge / malice because people read it and circulate it.

Not the way to ensure better standards in public office.

But you are condoning it. Every person who knows and doesn’t call him out is condoning it. I appreciate in this situation that you don’t actually know it in there for calling him out doesn’t really matter but in real life. It’s incredibly important that this behaviour isn’t tolerated bring so much misery to other people who usually don’t bloody deserve it.

Iona345 · 07/07/2023 11:51

An excellent well-researched piece! Be fun to do the same when my ex-husband gets remarried. 😂

ohfook · 07/07/2023 11:55

Ffs I've followed this whole thing and only just realised I get George osbourne and George Galloway mixed up.

WelshNerd · 07/07/2023 10:27

Oh no, not George Osborne. A man who was previously held in such high esteem by the general public.

I guess you really can't trust anyone these days.

A man who was memorably booed at the London Olympics

😂😂

Not me - I unashamedly love a bit of juicy goss.

Sugarplumfury · 07/07/2023 12:03

Oh god how I’d love to do this to my ex. I’m guessing it’s one of kids or a close friend of one of them doing this on their behalf. It definitely narrows it down having access to the wedding list. Will they go through with the wedding tomorrow. Goodness the atmosphere in the church will be quite something if they do. M

TheGander · 07/07/2023 12:04

Hopefully Yasmin Alibhai Brown will do a piece on him shortly. She excels at putting the boot into men who dump 1st wives for younger women.

Me neither. I am not one for gloating over other peoples private matters that no doubt have caused upset to many people.
Sad to say so many nasty people around that do happily gloat.

Not when the subject of the gloating is a colossal twat

BrightYellowDaffodil · 07/07/2023 12:07

Ooh, that email is a corker.

My money is on Dominic Cummings being the author...
