I think I've been doing periods wrong

Please help a sister out. Which way round do these things go?

What is the flower supposed to represent?

And what are those two bird things?

I have a feeling I've spend the last 30 years getting it wrong.

With the exception of night time pads, which have a wider part at the bum end, I'm not sure pads have a right way around do they?

I have never noticed a flower and bird (is that a bum?) on mine.

Flower to the front and the squiggles to the back. Hadn't thought about it before until pp said but I guess that is supposed to represent a bum 😂

Flower being a common name for vagina/vulva.....

However I wouldnt worry about it, come December this brand is eliminating their symbols to be more user friendly......

Loool this post made me laugh I hadn't even noticed pictures on pads I just whack them in.

I'd guess the flower was for "your flower" end as some people give it that nickname

I was going to say it really doesn’t matter but now I’ve seen the full picture, the birds definitely go at the back.

The absorbency is going towards the birds and that’s where you need it. Especially if you’re laying in bed asleep and what not.

Im more surprised people still buy pads without wings. I can’t abide the wingless stuff. But I use reusables now. Have done for the last 5 years. Won’t go back to disposables

I have ADHD and don't think I've consciously chosen one side to be the front or the back according to whatever symbol?

Just chaotically inserted them in my pants. It's all good.

Never in the entire history of me using these things have I ever even noticed any particular drawings on the pads. Blush

Don’t use them any more thank goodness, menopause.

I hate wings.

They always seem to crumple horribly for me and I end up leaking. Plus I get an inadvertent waxing effect when the wings stick to the pubes.

I hate wings with a passion!

That’s surprising! I never had a problem (I don’t think anyway). But it’s been around 5 years since I’ve used disposables and my memory is shocking. I remember always buying winged towels but that’s about it

This has really made me laugh! I can't believe people thought the flower was a representation of a bumhole, but equally I never realised the meaning of the "flower", I thought it was just decorative, duh!

Luckily I understood the "birds" were bum cheeks so have been using them right, phew!

Doesn't really matter too much, I need the longer bit at the front so that's what I do
