Not winning the lottery is making me sad.

That’s it really.

I would be content let happy to win a couple million. Obviously the massive 124 millions jackpots are great, but a couple million I’d be happy with that.

How much would you like to win to really make a difference in your life, not just a good splash about for a nicer house and new car, but really change your life?

It used to be easier to win. 20 shared a jackpot back in one draw in Nov 1995. 10 got a share of 9.6 million in Sept 95. 34 won the jackpot in Sep 95 & 31 in November.

I just can’t understand why I didn’t win that huge euromillions jackpot last night - I thought positive thoughts, I honed my numbers strategy 😂

Being practical....

I would like to give each of our children £300k for houses. They each have some equity already so that will enable them all to pay off their mortgages and maybe make some improvements. £300k x 3 = £900k
I would like to give each of the grandchildren some money in trust for when they are adults. £50k x 6 = £300k.
I would like to buy a new electric car with huge range and all the bells and whistles, and I would like a little around town runaround. £150k
I would like a really really nice holiday £20k
I would like not to have to worry about having enough to live on for the rest of our lives. £500k
All that comes to £1,870,000, so we'll say £2m just to be safe.

I would also like to buy next door, get an architect in, join the two houses together, put in a lift, make the two gardens into one nice garden, build a n extension and put in a heated indoor swimming pool. That would be another £1m and mean additional running costs, so ideally £3.5m.

More would be lovely! I've always wanted to set up a trust/charity to help support women with children who want to return to education, particularly those who want to go to university. I went back into education in my mid thirties, starting with A levels and finally getting a degree. It was incredibly difficult with two children (and a waste of space husband who was frequently out of work and didn't do much - now ex husband)
