I'm only going for the evening. It's in a hotel that's known as a good wedding venue locally but nothing OTT posh.

The colour and cut suit me and I'm more likely to wear it again than a "wedding guest" outfit.

Awesome dress - I would wear it and feel a million dollars in it. I would wear it with pale pink accessories, or maybe ivory. Might go and buy it now!

Really lovely dress. The colour is beautiful

Beautiful dress, absolutely stunning. Honestly think you'd be fine with a normal strapless bra too. I was expecting a really low back, but (in the picture of the model at least) it's showing shoulder blades only, a bra strap sits considerably lower than that (or should do).

I hope you have a wonderful time!

It’s not ‘too much’ BUT I would not be comfortable dancing in it - too long and restrictive. But that’s me, not you. The dress itself is lovely.

avocadotofu · 03/07/2023 17:39

It's perfect I think.

RudsyFarmer · 03/07/2023 17:40

I love everything about it. Gorgeous.

UndercoverCop · 03/07/2023 17:42

It's a lovely dress, but it is quite black tie, if everyone else is in summery dresses you might feel a bit over dressed, but you know the vibe/crowd
I went to a wedding last February that it would've been perfect for and another last month where I would have been dressier than the bride in it, so it really depends!

Beautiful dress, enjoy
wearing it - you’ll look a million dollars.

I wore this to my daughter's best friend's wedding in red. I was doing a speech (in place of the late father-of the bride). I got so many compliments on my dress. I was nervous before hand as I am plus size and aged 52, I really was not 100% confident I could pull it off. I checked in with the Bride that it was OK to wear it as it was RED and fairly full-on. She replied she would be offended if I didn't wear it!! I can honestly say it is such an elegant and comfortable dress. Go for it - and a regular bra was completely fine. No straps were on show.

You can never be overdressed. My mum always says 'overdress for the occasion and you'll always be the best dressed there'
Dress is beautiful I love it

feelingfree17 · 03/07/2023 23:55

I love it
You have to wear it

Tallisker · 04/07/2023 23:38

Wow! Guess that's a yes to the dress!

Mrsgreen100 · 28/01/2024 20:00

It’s beautiful

Tryonemoretime · 07/06/2024 17:24

I absolutely love it! And if I was 5'11 instead of a little squirt, (and 10 years younger) I'd be very tempted to buy it myself.....

Nice dress but this thread is nearly a year old
