What is something you’ve never done?

I’ll start.

I’ve never been to a wedding that wasn’t my own. My parents hate weddings so we never went to them when we were children, and now I’m a single parent the ones I get invited to I have to swerve as they’re either child free or have never met my DC to invite them (work colleagues for example) because I have no childcare – said parents won’t help me with childcare and ExH is very unreliable with contact.

Anyone else?

I've never had short hair other than when it first grew as an infant! I've always had very long hair.

I've never sung out aloud in a church or any other occasion that required singing as I am
tone deaf and I just mime the words.

I have never been on a cruise (get seasick so never fancied it).
Never tried recreational drugs.
Never been to a festival.
Loads of countries I have never been to that I would like to remedy!

Never had a holiday romance. Didn't have any interest in one when I was young and single but seems like everyone else I know did and thinks I missed out on some sort of rite of passage. I am 50 now and absolutely no interest in a fling or dating if I lost DH so pretty sure I never will.

Also never been a bridesmaid and definitely too old for that now! (Have done readings etc at friends' weddings which is an absolute honour but my inner 6 year old is sulking at never getting the dress etc without the stress of it being my own wedding)
