Elton John Glastonbury Bingo! Suggestions..?

I need enough to have at least 40 (ideally).

I have, so far, numerous songs, and suggestions for who the mystery guests will be.

I also have names of people who'd potentially be mentioned or spotted (as there won't be commentary during the set, just before - it's not as easy as it is when doing, say, Royal Wedding bingo!)

Each card will have a mixture of the obvious and the not so obvious.

However, hive mind, more suggestions would be great - I have 32 so far, but can also omit some if other better one's come up. There are five of us to make cards for.

Current list is below...

  1. I’m Still Standing
  2. Legend
  3. Harry Styles
  4. Paul McCartney
  5. Britney Spears
  6. Final
  7. Promises to be different
  8. Lady Gaga
  9. First time at Glastonbury
  10. Final UK show
  11. Rocket Man
  12. Kate Bush
  13. Special Guest
  14. Royalty
  15. Honky Cat
  16. The Bitch is Back
  17. Border Song
  18. Tiny Dancer
  19. Showman
  20. Ed Sheeran
  21. Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me
  22. Don’t Go Breaking My Heart
  23. Candle In the Wind
  24. Your Song
  25. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
  26. I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues
  27. Dua Lipa
  28. David Furnish
  29. Collaborations
  30. Circle Of Life
  31. Sworn to secrecy

Give him a break, he's in his 70s!!!

Countdown2023 · 25/06/2023 22:58

None of them are spring chickens and they have stormed through that set! No breaks for hair/make up etc

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 25/06/2023 22:58

Blimey. He’s the best (and richest) ‘cringey pub singer (and musician)’ I’ve ever seen!

groupery · 25/06/2023 22:58

pub singer! 🤬🤬

HangingOver · 25/06/2023 22:58

What a great set

the80sweregreat · 25/06/2023 22:58

I guess people my age just appreciate the back catalogue and the talent !
Such a good set
Did not disappoint

Hugasauras · 25/06/2023 22:58

There was a documentary quite a few years ago that showed his songwriting process and it was really amazing and showed the extent of his insane talent. I don't think we will see his like for a long time.

Hugasauras · 25/06/2023 22:59

Pub singer 😂😂

groupery · 25/06/2023 22:59

i'm a millennial & think he's incredibly talented

the80sweregreat · 25/06/2023 22:59

Love you Elton and the band
Legendary , one in a million

Clymene · 25/06/2023 22:59

His voice is still brilliant

Figgygal · 25/06/2023 23:00

Pub singers don't play piano like that
Fuck sake what's wrong with some people

groupery · 25/06/2023 23:00

You're not going to get many of todays young singers having the back catalogue & talent to do shows in 50 yrs time.

AutumnCrow · 25/06/2023 23:00

Oh ignore the twat(s).

That was astonishingly good.

the80sweregreat · 25/06/2023 23:00

He was classically trained on the piano too
Such an amazing life

Borris · 25/06/2023 23:01

One more?

Exactly. I like the fact that he hasn’t started crying either despite being such an emotional occasion. Different generation…

Gateappreciation · 25/06/2023 23:01

Circle of life as encore?

BlueLiquid · 25/06/2023 23:02

That was fabulous.

HadEnoughOfBears · 25/06/2023 23:02

Who on earth could be slating that!!!
TWO HOURS!!

the80sweregreat · 25/06/2023 23:02

Goodbye Elton
Enjoy retirement!

AutumnCrow · 25/06/2023 23:03

There's a licence curfew cut-off, so that's it.

Timed to perfection.

Fruttidelbosco · 25/06/2023 23:03

I’m still hoping for Levon.

Merrilydancing · 25/06/2023 23:03

Amazing, such a fantastic pianist to be so agile on the keys as his age and his band were fantastic as well, none of them are spring chickens as well.

I am really enjoying this. Elton is terrific! I remember seeing him at Wembley Stadium in June 1984 (dear Lord, I am so old...) - Nik Kershaw was performing too, and Kool & The Gang as well. Paul Young was meant to be there but had to pull out because of throat problems, I think. Elton was amazing then, too.

Ooh I was at that too. It was a great day. I remember missing all of Big Country because I had to queue for the loo.😁
