Texas are playing right now. What an absolute bloody delight to see Sharleen Spiteri, looking exactly like herself at 55, giving it all. Her voice is still amazing. Rock on!

Ok so my conclusion is some bands eg this one just to leave it in the era when they were best. But I even think that about the Rolling Stones. No need to keep rehashing it.

I know wizkid wouldn’t be a Mumsnet fave but he was better than this drivel. Kelis bossed it too.

Oh my goodness!!!! I've never even heard of Hot Chip before tonight, Wow what a performance! Even my Glastonbury hating husband had his toe tapping along!

For me that's what Glastonbury is all about. Before anyone asks I have been many, many times, possibly 10 years. Honestly they all blur in to one but I'm approaching 50. Time to hand over to the next shift

As a Yorkshire lass who was a late teen during the early Arctic Monkeys era, AT singing Mardy Bum in an American accent has offended my poor Yorkshire sole.

@longtompot OMG they were just fabulous!!! We started off watching artic monkeys, maybe they had a bad night but just not my thing. Hot Chip blew my socks off!!!

I thought the AM were great, particularly considering the laryngitis. 🤷‍♀️

Alex turner sounds like the pub singer off radio one in the 80s. Don’t know about Glastonbury, more like the Phoenix club. Absolutely dire, boring, I switched it off.

Just specifically came on here to see what everyone is saying about AM. I don't really know them but it sounded very prog rock down by a poor Bowie impersonator.

We actually saw The Kaiser Chiefs play live here in my little city for an armed forces day weekend thing. They were very good.

If it was on a field beginning with H, then I saw them there, too, and they were very good!

If he was ill he’d have been better off saying he couldn’t do it , they could have moved people about , all he’s done now is embarrass himself ( and the rest of the band ) .

Kelis was great

Just taken myself off to bed after an evening watching it all. Kelis was brilliant! Then we put Fever Ray on and that was different...

Based off the comments I just read I need to catch up on Hot Chip tomorrow.

Just caught up with Kelis, she was amazing and I’m gutted as she was playing in Manchester this week but I had nobody to go with so I didn’t get tickets, wish I’d just gone alone now!
