Texas are playing right now. What an absolute bloody delight to see Sharleen Spiteri, looking exactly like herself at 55, giving it all. Her voice is still amazing. Rock on!

They were genuinely superb when we saw them the other week!

I can concede his guitar playing is very basic. Senior school band level.

Very muted encore chants.
Will they slow down ‘you look good on the dance floor’?

He’s somehow over singing and not singing enough at the same time… zzzzz

But to be fair, sick or well, AT must surely be bored stiff performing the same old stuff time after time. Bit of a shame - I’m a detached fan, but this is pretty disappointing.

When I look at the aerial wide shots of glasto I’m always wondering what must the farmer neighbours think of all that racket. Must be a humungous farm.

Just realised I am past Glastonbury! Struggling through the Arctic Monkeys and dropped my cornetto as I nodded off!

@fluffymonkeys i agree! We went last weekend and they were amazing, genuinely one of the best concerts/gigs I’ve been to. None of the songs were slowed down, the atmosphere was electric and every song sounded amazing.

and also I see Davina McCall at the gig and she looked SENSATIONAL 😂

Cant say I’d disagree on that 😂 that is hilarious thanks. Not sure AT will be bothered though as from what I’ve read tonight he’s been singing in this odd style for a while now. Turned it over as DH is snoring over the top of it, it’s THAT good.

Ok so are they actually a one hit wonder band if their other songs are like this? As my daughter would say “this is long”.

I wouldn't say so no. They have changed over time and I for one have enjoyed their different stuff, but it's how his voice has changed for singing live which is ruining all the songs

Don't know if its a menopause thing but I was looking forward to shuffling along to I predict a riot when my daughter pointed out "wrong band mother"! I get them and the kaisers mixed up every bloody time! I will be ok with Blondie and Elton!

Haha! We actually saw The Kaiser Chiefs play live here in my little city for an armed forces day weekend thing. They were very good. I just regretted not listening to the album I have, to remember what the words were as I only half remembered them

His voice has totally changed when speaking too. WTF is that accent?
And it’s not a good sound re the songs.
