How old is 'too old' for a child to be naked at a splash park?

Sitting here with the 4yo niece charge at a splash park... 6/7 year old girl running round starkers! I'm a bit shocked tbh.

Now I have been "caught short" before, but she's just been sent in the water in her knickers, because she can always just go commando on the way home.

I think anything around 3+ is too old tbh.

I wouldn’t think twice about letting the 3 year old go naked, and neither would dd. Some of the replies here do strike me as rather prudish.

Mine would’ve gladly gone to school naked….but as her parent, I you know parented her and ensured her safety.

I don't understand the replies here. I don't let my child go naked because she is very fair and I worry about sun damage. But if I did let her she is in no danger as long as I am with her.

So you think it's prudish Getting? When these perverts are found to have images on laptops and phones, where do you think these photos and films were taken? It's not just strangers either, many perverts know the kids because they are related to them. I never let my dc run around naked as very young children even in my own back garden as a result of my 'stately homes' experiences.
You sound naive at the very least.

I actually think this is one of the things I’ve changed my opinion of as I’ve got older and seen more of the depths of human depravity.
10 years ago I might have thought it was ‘prudish’ too but sadly have definitely changed my mind on that

In that case, it's fine to take your child down the high street naked too, just a short walk from the shops?

No, of course not. Because it's not just about physical access. There's other ways to exploit children. Having naked photos being the most obvious

No nudity. I remember being at a water park and noticing a man lying in a tree, hidden by branches.
And the way at sleepovers when me and my friend would be having a bath or whatever the dad would always turn up at some point.
And the naked swimming lake near us where there is always, always a naked man sunning himself near the kids.
People love the idea of children feeling no shame etc but it is very naive.

12 is a bit old.. I started my period at 9 and was in a 28DD by 12!

I wouldn’t let DC go naked outdoors at any age tbh. Not even in the back garden. Apart from the sun damage risk (and so much faff to try and get suncream everywhere quite frankly) it would just feel too vulnerable for them.

I don’t care how prudish I sound but the only appropriate place for a baby or child to be naked is the bathroom, supervised by a trustworthy adult.

It wouldn't bother me if I saw some kids that age naked but I would make sure mine wore their knickers. At home it's different when they're in the garden but in public? Nah...
