I’ve seen threads before about what OPs you remember for whatever reason, but thought I’d ask what replies have stuck with you?

Every morning and night when I wash my face I remember a comment on a thread about hot cloth cleansing where someone replied “I’ve been hot cloth cleansing ever since it was called washing your face with a flannel”. Always makes me chortle 😂

‘So he had bits of badger in a Tupperware box?’ That whole steamed badger in the National History Museum thread was hilarious!

Once read a style thread where a poster described herself as looking like ‘a hippo that’s been covered in glue and shoved through Primark.’ Made me laugh.

The carpet fitting thread that just refused to die. I mean it did eventually but I used to love reading complaints about its repeated resurrection as if the posters concerned were obliged to respond rather than ignore it 😁

The poster who said “I’m confused. Where did you bring your house? 🤨” in reply to a poster who’d been punched in the face by her partner that even and was feeling trapped because they’d recently “brought” a house together and she’d put all of her money into it.

It was very obvious what was meant and there was zero need to be a spag pedant on a thread of that nature.
